IT has long been deemed one of reality TV's most wild and explosive shows.
From catfights galore, cheating scandals and shocking sex secrets, Married At First Sight Australia has become a bonafide success and a surefire headline-grabber of a show.
One of the biggest shows on Australian TV, the Down Under formal also became a huge success in the UK during the Covid lockdown in 2020, regularly bringing in over a million viewers a night whilst everyone was stuck indoors.
It even led the UK version to follow suit by ditching its traditional format in favour of a two-month long extravaganza filled to the brim with drama.
Now, with the Aussie show back in action for a brand new series of E4, only time will tell if it will produce any more of the most shocking moments in reality TV history.
For now, The Sun has compiled a list of the most outrageous moments to ever hit the scandal-filled programme.
Martha Kalifatidis and Cyrell Paule famously came to blows during the show's reunion dinner party in 2019.
In the scenes, Martha shocked the group when she poured an entire glass of red wine down Cyrell's back.
The pair continually clashed throughout the series with Martha more irate than ever before when she discovered that Cyrell has been talking bad about her husband once again.
Before storming over with her glass of wine in tow, Martha said of her show rival: "If she keeps talking to Michael, I'm going to crawl across the table and gouge her eyes out."
After pouring the drink over her head, Martha quickly ran away as the rest of the group looked on in utter disbelief at her antics.
It caused an absolute ruckus with Cyrell quickly following suit and chasing Martha off-set and barging past several of the show's crew before chucking red wine across her pristine white Prada dress.
Cyrell had to be held back by her co-stars as Martha walked off with her white dress ruined after her rival's retaliation.
Sam and Ines' wife swap shock
There were extremely steamy scenes when groom Sam went behind his wife Elizabeth's back to secretly romp with a new woman named Ines on the show.
MAFS viewers were left stunned as they watched Sam cheat on his wife with Ines.
The programme showed the pair on a secret date in which Ines had admitted beforehand that she may as well just wear her underwear and no clothes as they would soon be "coming off".
Having smooched behind a plant, seemingly to avoid the obvious gaze of the cameras, Sam then invited Ines back to his apartment where things got hot and heavy.
The pair snogged one another extensively before Sam picked Ines up and threw her on his bed.
He then climbed on top of her as things began to crack up a notch.
Viewers were left shocked not only at the revelation that Sam was cheating but the fact he was now romping care-free in full view of the cameras for all to see.
Nude photo row
In 2022, fans were left shocked when it was revealed that cast members on the show had been shown a nude photo of one of the brides with her seemingly being unaware.
Olivia Frazer showed fellow members of the cast a naked picture of Domenica Calarco without her consent.
Olivia shared the photo after discovering Domenica's OnlyFans platform where she had uploaded the nude images.
Domenica admitted it felt like a "malicious attack" before she stormed off from filming and removed her microphone after being left blindsided by the scenario.
A petition was then created asking for the "e-safety commissioner to immediately take action against Olivia" and gained a whopping 55,000 signatures.
Domenica became aware of the petition and backed it whilst also confirming she had taken legal advice over the situation.
She eventually shut down the OnlyFans page, as per the Daily Mail, but was left gutted to lose out on the extra income.
X-rated bathroom scenes
Viewers could not believe their eyes when a naked bathtub romp was shown on the show.
Ella and Mitch were all over each other when they met on the show in 2022 and they clearly could not keep their hands to theirselves as they headed on honeymoon.
Although Mitch was desperate to take things to the next level, Ella had been clear she had a three-day rule - meaning she would not have sex with him until three days had passed.
Respecting her wishes, Mitch ended up choosing to tease her instead and at first treated her to a racy backside massage.
The pair then hopped in the bath together where things took a raunchy turn.
Mitch took off his underwear once in the bath and threw it across Ella's face.
Then, fully nude, he mounted her inside the tub as they shared a passionate snog with one another.
It especially caused eyebrows given that upon its Australian premiere, it was aired at 7:30pm in the evening - a move which many branded inappropriate.
Punch Probe
The show found itself at the centre of a police probe when reality star Paul Antonine punched a hole in a door following a row with his TV bride.
Participant Paul hit the roof when his spouse Carina Mirabile admitted she had previously slept with a huge US rapper.
The 31 year old groom displayed a concerning reaction when a day out turned dark.
On their way home from a double date with another couple of the romantic show, Carina turned the radio on in the Uber, when a song came on by US rapper Quavo.
Carina explained in her to-camera interview with producers: "I put on a song and I said a comment that I'd slept with this rapper and I didn't think it was awkward.
"Paul and I have spoken about our pasts so I didn't think there was an issue at all."
But when they returned to their apartment, Paul's mood soured.
"I was cuddling him and he was like, "I just need space,"' Carina said of the outburst, which was not caught on camera.
"He obviously didn't like that. I turned around and went to bed and that's when he got really angry and he punched a wall."
Paul was later seen crying as he apologised to his wife for his actions.
And now New South Wales police, who cover the Sydney area where the show is filmed, confirmed they have launched an investigation into the matter.
"The matter has been referred to officers from South Sydney Police Area Command, who have commenced an investigation," a police spokesperson told Sky News Australia.
"As the investigation is current, police will not be making any further comment in relation to the matter".
Daily Mail Australia have also reported that Aussie network Channel Nine, who air the show, have been locked in crisis talks since the episode aired.
