Lisa Rinna Addresses RHOBH Comments, Offers Apology

The former Bravo star appeared on the February 11 episode of SiriusXM’s “Andy Cohen Live” and admitted she spoke out of turn on a previous podcast. I didn’t think about it in the moment, and I now am sorry about it,” Rinna told host Andy Cohen of her insinuation that RHOBH is not doing well in its 14th season on the air.

Rinna, 61, was a cast member on ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” for eight seasons before announcing her exit in January 2023.

On his radio show, Cohen questioned Rinna about why she said RHOBH was like the “Titanic” in a February 2025 podcast interview. “You’ve so moved past the show. You’re so doing your own thing,” he pointed out to the entrepreneur, actor, and model after accusing her of “mouthing off.”

“I’m sorry I hurt your feelings,” Rinna told Cohen. “It’s not, you know, I put my foot in my mouth. It’s not that. That show’s gonna go on and on and on. I misused my words. I said it, and I’m sorry I hurt your feelings. Let’s move on.

Cohen described Rinna’s apology as a bit of a “non-apology.” He also pointed out that The Beverly Hills-based show was having one of its best seasons with great ratings.

“I hear it’s great,” Rinna acknowledged to her former boss. “Listen, it’s not going anywhere. This franchise is not going anywhere. Let me say that right now. You can put anybody on the show. Mix it up.”

At the time of her departure from RHOBH, Rinna told Interview magazine she wasn’t sure who would do the “work” on the show with her gone. “I did a lot of work,” she noted. “Because I’m a worker bee and I’ll just do it. I’ll say it. I don’t have any fear. If you’re so liked, you’re not going to want to do the work. So, who’s going to do the work over there? That’s my question. Who’s doing the work?”

Rinna is still friends with several RHOBH cast members, including Kyle Richards, and Erika Jayne.

Rinna’s “Titanic” talk took place during an appearance on the “That’s a Gay A** Podcast,” as she speculated that her nemesis Lisa Vanderpump could go back to RHOBH five years after quitting.

“I heard that [Vanderpump might return],” Rinna said on the podcast. “They’re always looking to save [the show]. They know it’s the Titanic. I’m just gonna say it. And we all know it’s the [expletive] Titanic. And so, I would imagine that they are courting the [expletive] out of [Vanderpump] right now. Because, like who else? They know I’m not going back.”

Rinna also predicted that she thought Vanderpump would take Bravo up on an offer to return.

But Cohen has repeatedly stated that he does not see the “Vanderpump Rules” veteran returning for an RHOBH diamond. “I don’t see her coming back to that show,” Cohen said on his Sirius XM radio show “Andy Cohen Live” in January 2025.  He noted that Vanderpump doesn’t need the show and vice versa.

And Vanderpump also weighed in on the topic. When asked by TMZ about Rinna’s story that producers want her back, Vanderpump cracked, “Well if Lisa Rinna said it, it must be true—said no one ever.”

Vanderpump was also asked if she would ever consider a return to “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” “Oh, there’s a pig flying to the moon. There’s more chance of that,” she replied.
