The kicker connected on two long field goals in Detroit's comeback win over Houston.
Detroit Lions kicker Jake Bates has been named Week 10's NFC Special Teams Player of the Week.
Bates was clutch in the fourth quarter during Detroit's 26-23 win over the Houston Texans on "Sunday Night Football", hitting a career-long, 58-yard field goal with about five minutes remaining to tie the game and then a 52-yard field goal as time expired.
This is the second time Bates has won the weekly award. He won it for Week 7's win against the Minnesota Vikings when he hit his first career game-winning kick.

The 25-year-old has been impressive in his first NFL season, making all 14 field goal attempts, including three from 50-plus yards out. Bates has also made 32-of-33 extra point attempts in nine games.
The honor this week also brings Detroit's total weekly awards to six on the season:

Week 7: K Jake Bates
Week 8: PR Kalif Raymond
Week 10: K Jake Bates
The Lions also have two players who received monthly honors, as defensive end Aidan Hutchinson was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Month in September and Goff was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Month in October.
The Lions next host the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-8) on Sunday at noon CT.
