Lions' Brian Branch Gets 5-Word Show of Support From Teammate Terrion Arnold

   

The Detroit Lions' secondary was one of the most explosive and underrated in the entire NFL last season, but ran out of gas in the playoffs as injuries across the team's defensive unit took their toll. 

Among Detroit's standouts were Brian Branch, the former second round pick from Nick Saban's Alabama Crimson Tide, and Terrion Arnold, the former first round pick who once played with Branch in Tuscaloosa. 

 

 

Branch and Arnold did their best to hold down the fort last season with injuries piling up in the Motor City, but weren't quite able to get their team over the hump.

On Wednesday, Arnold sent a message of support to Branch whom Arnold seems to believe could have a career trajectory similar to defensive backfield mate Kerby Joseph, at least in terms of individual accolades.

"Brian Branch will be an All-Pro next season," a Lions X page wrote recently with a sleeping face emoji.

The Lions must contend with change next season in the secondary, but it could end up working out in their favor. 

Detroit added former Jets defensive ace DJ Reed at cornerback, and could be primed to witness a big season from former draft pick Ennis Rakestraw in year two with coach Dan Campbell.
