Auction organizers in Kentucky sent Swifties into a spiral after announcing they were giving away "two concert tickets for [Taylor Swift's] upcoming 2026 tour" — despite the singer never announcing plans to hit the road next year.
On May 2, the Galt House will host the 12th Unbridled Eve Derby Gala in Louisville, Kentucky, featuring more than 100 items and once-in-a-lifetime experiences for their silent auction.
There was one item in particular that garnered lots of attention, named the "Taylor Swift Package."
The package included a "signed guitar" by the singer herself as well as "two concert tickets."
While the original description claimed the tickets were for a 2026 concert, organizers later clarified that that wasn't the case — and they simply planned to get tickets to one of Swift's next shows, whenever that may be.
"In the most recent Unbridled Eve press release, it inadvertently listed one of our auction items as a 'Signed guitar by Taylor Swift and two concert tickets during her upcoming 2026 tour.' Our deepest apologies for getting the Swiftie Nation excited, but it should have said 'Guitar signed by Taylor Swift and two tickets for a concert during her next tour,'" cofounder Tammy York Day said in a statement.
"We have no knowledge whatsoever of when that tour will be."
It's unclear exactly when Swift plans to go on tour next, as she wrapped up her nearly two-year Eras Tour in December.
Though the package will likely still be one of the top options at the auction, the winner will probably have to wait years to get the prize fulfilled.
Gracie Abrams knows all too well about the privacy struggles that come with fame — thanks to Taylor Swift.
The "Us" singer told Billboard in an interview published Thursday that being in the pop star's "orbit" has lent "perspective" to her own career.
Since Swift, 35, is "like, the most well-known artist there is," Abrams, 25, has seen how the "invasion of privacy" she experiences is "not that bad" by comparison.
Abrams explained, "One of the things I've felt lucky to observe is how extreme it can be because I think it helps right-size my own sh-t."
The Grammy nominee noted that she has "learned a lot ... obviously" from the "Cruel Summer" singer.
Abrams opened for Swift during various stops of the 14-time Grammy winner's record-breaking Eras Tour, which wrapped last year.
Travis Kelce "embodies" the characteristics of a "golden retriever boyfriend" and make him a "perfect match" for Taylor Swift, according to a relationship expert.
The term, which has become viral on social media, describes a boyfriend who "has boundless enthusiasm, is emotionally available, loyal, playful, super-affectionate, warm, and is a devoted, healthy, and delightful long-term partner, especially after a woman has experienced a less-than-fabulous relationship," celebrity matchmaker Alessandra Conti told Fox News Digital in an interview published Friday.
"He is not afraid to hype up his partner and does not hide his affection for her either," she added.

Conti gushed that Kelce's golden retriever energy "is an especially perfect match for his black cat girlfriend, Taylor Swift."
While a "golden retriever boyfriend" is more outgoing and playful, the "black cat girlfriend" is the counterpart who is more "mysterious, reserved and independent."
