The “Summer House” star explained on Instagram Saturday that her boyfriend, Dr. Turner Kufe, actually found out the sex of their baby before she did and surprised her with the news while vacationing in Italy.
“We left Milan on June 9th and took a car to Lake Maggiore. He organized ahead of time for the hotel to set up our room with flowers and balloons to surprise me with when we walked in,” she wrote alongside a video recording her entering the lodging filled with pink bouquets.
“It is hard to surprise me, but not only did he pull it off, he crushed it! We couldn’t be more excited that our little cub is a baby girl! ”
In the adorable video, Hubbard gasps as she sees the pink-themed decor and shrieks, “Stop! What? No! We’re having a girl? Oh my God, babe!”
Hubbard, 37, announced in early July that she was pregnant with her first child, though she kept her beau’s identity a mystery.
The former publicist announced earlier this month that she was pregnant.
She told her beau that she was pregnant just three months after they had begun dating.
“We have a very loving, caring and healthy relationship. I finally feel like I met my match with him,” she gushed.
The former publicist later told her fans and followers that she shared her pregnancy news with Kufe, 35, just three months after they started dating.
Hubbard admitted the pregnancy was a “surprise and a shock at first because we were not trying or even planning,” but after some discussions, they knew “it just felt so right for both of us.”
“We have a very loving, caring and healthy relationship. I finally feel like I met my match with him,” she gushed.
The Bravolebrity and biotech investor have been dating since January, but they first met more than three years ago.
“Some of my friends call it a boomerang where you go out the first time, the timing wasn’t right, and then they come back around, so that’s basically what happened,” she explained on the “Bitch Bible” podcast in May.
