LOVE Island fans have accused producers of battling to keep one couple from being booted off.
Viewers have taken to social media to vent their frustrations over a twist that looks set to keep the former favourite and her toy-boy partner in the show.
All Stars fans were left on a dramatic cliffhanger as it was revealed THREE couples face the axe.
After voting for their favourite pair, fans left Elma Pazar and Sammy Root, Catherine Agbaje and Omar Nyame, and Harriett Blackmore and Ronnie Vint vulnerable.
However, they were told the surviving couples wouldn't be in charge of who to send home.
Instead, the dumped islanders will return to cast their vote - which could mean Towie star Elma Pazar and Sammy Root will be safe.
The fiery brunette has recently been damned over explosive rows with Ekin-Su Cülcüloglu and Curtis Pritchard.
One angry viewer wrote on X: "Great, so there’s a big chance Elma won’t go if it’s down to the previous islanders."
A second agreed: "What’s the point in making people vote?"
A third complained: "Why are Love Island doing everything they can to keep Elma the bully in?! Or to try and change the narrative?!"
"I KNEW the public vote wouldn’t be enough and they’d do something like this!! Absolute joke," penned a fourth.
"If it’s down to the previous islanders Elma and Sammy are safe because most of the girls love Elma. Harriet is right, she’s gone. But to be fair no one stepped on anyone’s toes this season - has been boring. Worst ever," noted another.
"Omg we all just want Elma and Sammy out. Why are you letting the other islanders decide?" a user moaned.
"Why didn't they leave it to the public? PLS GET ELMA AND HER SON OUT," mocked a livid fan.
Elma, 32, and Sammy, 23, are now the favourite couple to next be dumped from the show, according to bookies.
Fans have branded her a “bully” after she was left fuming when Ekin-Su gave Sammy a peck on the lips during the heart rate challenge.
It follows a week of intense rows between the islanders.
During video calls with some of the boys on Friday night's show, family members hinted that the drama surrounded the girls could mean Elma doesn't make the final.
Elma and Sammy’s question about Curtis and Ekin-Su reignited another clash between the two couples during an All Stars dinner.
One of the returnees is Ron Hall, who has already called for Elma to be dumped from the villa after claiming her being voted 'favourite girl' has gone to her head.
Ron ranted: "I've just seen a clip of Elma having a dig at Ekin.
"Can we all just agree that you lot all voting her as Favourite Girl has given her a complete sense of freedom to just take things to the next level.
"She thinks she can get away with murder.
"The way she talks to people like s*** is ridiculous. So, get her out now.
"I've had enough. Get her out!"
