Lateasha Lunceford's Controversial Remark: Suggests Dr. Heavenly's Late Mother Is in 'Hell'-quang

The ladies of Married to Medicine don’t need Bravo’s cameras to deliver a show. The other night on Instagram Live, Dr. Heavenly Kimes and Lateasha “Sweet Tea” Lunceford basically gave us their own mini-reunion. If this a preview of what we can expect when they sit down for the Season 10 reunion, then we’re in for a doozy.

The two went live joined by Phaedra Parks, Toya Bush-Harris, and Dr. Alicia Egolum. The whole thing quickly devolved into a shouting match, and Dr. Heavenly completely eviscerated poor Sweet Tea.

You can check it out for yourself below. Just make sure to turn down the volume if you’re wearing earphones.

Dr. Heavenly and Sweet Tea face off

It was almost impossible to hear anything that was said during this Instagram Live because Dr. Heavenly and Sweet Tea literally could not stop shouting over each other. Even Phaedra looked shocked.

At one point, Toya interjected to try to bring the ladies down a notch. She quipped, “I just watched The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and they argue without yelling.”

Toya’s comment helped the ladies calm down for a millisecond, but then they went right back to screaming at each other. At one point, Dr. Heavenly told the newbie to “go to hell,” to which Lateasha replied, “Your mama’s there.”

Talking about the mama is always a low blow. But it was especially low in this instance considering how Dr. Heavenly’s mom passed away almost two years ago. She replied to Sweet Tea, “My mama is dead. Come on, now, let’s not do that.”

With Sweet Tea going low, Dr. Heavenly decided to go lower. She went on to drag the M2M newbie for everything from her appearance to her financial status. Then, she brought up Quad Webb’s name, and she suggested that Dr. Gregory Lunceford had been secretly communicating with his ex.

“Go worry about that man you got, cuz I heard he’s calling Quad,” Dr. Heavenly quipped. “I heard he’s calling Quad. You might want to go check on him. He’s probably on the phone with her right now.”

The back-and-forth dragged on for several minutes. Eventually, Phaedra had to end the Live, and absolutely nothing got resolved. It was truly just a bunch of name-calling. Perhaps the Season 10 reunion will deliver a more productive conversation between these ladies.

Married to Medicine continues on Bravo, Sunday nights at 9/8c.
