Las Vegas Raiders: A Historic Crisis as Performance Hits Rock Bottom in the 2024 NFL Season - suong
The Las Vegas Raiders fell to a 2-9 record on Sunday after losing to the Denver Broncos, putting them in the top three in the NFL draft order. The Raiders have been struggling to find any consistency on both sides of the ball this year, but the offense has been the main thing holding them back from victory.
According to statistics, Las Vegas has the worst marks in the league in giveaways (22), takeaways (5), and turnover margin (-17).
To make things worse for the team, quarterback Garnder Minshew was just ruled out for the season with a broken collarbone, meaning Desmond Ridder and Aidan O'Connell will be filling in for the remainder of the year.
Despite all of the struggles, it could serve the Raiders well if they lose out in order to secure a great position in the 2025 NFL draft. One of the main needs is at quarterback, and Las Vegas has been predicted to land guys like Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward. It seem the favorite amongst fans is Sanders, but it will be a fight between them and the New York Giants to see who gets him.
