Get the latest on the friendship between Vanderpump Rules' Lala Kent and Ariana Madix.
Lala Kent and Ariana Madix's friendship may be beyond repair.
The Give Them Lala Beauty founder revealed as much after being asked what sort of relationship she has with Ariana today, only to respond, "We don't have one."
The question came during the Oct. 22 episode of Jeff Lewis Live, and was proceeded by follow-up inquiries from both Jeff and Lala's fellow guest Ryan Bailey. The latter, more specifically, asked if Ariana's ever come to Lala, or vice-versa, to make amends after their falling out on Vanderpump Rules Season 11.
"That will never happen," Lala bluntly replied.
But while a reconciliation may not be happening any time soon, Lala clarified that she has no ill will toward her former friend. "Ariana, I will always be a cheerleader for. She was absolutely fantastic on Broadway. She, I heard, killed it on Love Island. I've never watched the show and certainly didn't start watching it because we're not gonna, but I have no ill feelings about anybody on the show and I think that's what it feels for the first time. I just feel peace."
Why are Lala Kent and Ariana Madix no longer friends?
The drama between Lala and Ariana kicked off on Vanderpump Rules Season 11 and came to a head during the three-part reunion when the cast watched the final few minutes of the season finale. In the closing moments of the episode, Lala broke the fourth wall and expressed her disappointment with how Ariana was handling her breakup from Tom Sandoval.
Ariana, for her part, cried while responding to Lala's finale remarks. "It hurts my feelings a lot," she said. "It really does, because I was trying so hard and then I feel like it's our job to live our lives, and I'm living authentically by walking away from that."
Lala had no regrets about what she said, though. As she put it on the reunion, "I was livid that night and I'm sorry if I hurt you, but I stand by what I said."
What happened between Lala and Ariana after Vanderpump Rules Season 11?
The VPR Season 11 reunion filmed back in March 2024. Since then, Lala has doubled down on the criticisms she shared throughout the season, including her assertion that Ariana became a "diva" after her breakup from Tom Sandoval.
"The show reached a level that it never would have reached without this. And even though it was horrible, I was not mad at the opportunities she was getting outside of the show," Lala explained on a June episode of the Two Ts in a Pod podcast. "What I started getting upset about is now we're bringing a little bit of divaness to my place of work that I've been doing for eight years. And I have a hard time when people think that they are bigger than the show."
More recently, Ariana made it clear that she and Lala have remained on the outs, telling E! News in late September, "I haven't been in touch with Lala at all."
