Former Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce’s wife, Kylie Kelce, recently opened up about her feelings about expecting a fourth daughter.
During an appearance on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, Kylie Kelce admitted that while she is excited, she briefly felt sad about not having a son.
Podcaster Alex Cooper asked Kylie Kelce about the most surprising rumor she had heard about her pregnancy. She said that fans assumed they wanted a boy because many people were hoping for them to have a son.
She then reflected on the moment they found out they were expecting another girl.
“We’ve always said we wanted four kids, maybe I won’t get to meet a little Jason Kelce,” Kylie Kelce said.
However, Kylie Kelce quickly embraced the idea of being a mother to four girls. She also joked about avoiding certain challenges that come with raising boys.
“If we had a boy at this point, I’m good. I’ve gone this long without getting peed on when I open a diaper, I’m trying to keep that streak alive,” she added.
Kylie Kelce and Jason Kelce are already parents to three daughters: Wyatt, 5; Elliotte, 3; and Bennett, 23 months.
Despite any initial mixed feelings, Kylie Kelce believes having four daughters will be easier than raising four sons.
“Four girls is better than four boys,” she said with a laugh.
She also recalled a story about Jason Kelce as a child when his mother, Donna Kelce, once heard someone outside yell, "He has a knife!"
The pregnant mother of three explained that the shout came when Jason Kelce, as a child, took kitchen knives into the yard to see if they would stick in the ground when thrown.
Kylie Kelce's openness about her pregnancy and family life has resonated with many, showing both her humor and her deep love for her growing family.
