A silent storm is brewing behind the scenes of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, as insider sources reveal that Kyle Richards — a longtime RHOBH cast member — is putting significant pressure on Bravo to officially bring Morgan Wade, the country singer and her rumored girlfriend, on board as a series regular in Season 15.
According to multiple production sources, Kyle has been “quietly lobbying” with high-level producers, insisting that Morgan’s inclusion would “bring a fresh vibe, a younger audience, and renewed media buzz to RHOBH at a time when ratings are plateauing.”
But the plan isn’t going down smoothly.
One insider disclosed: “At least three veteran cast members have expressed frustration. They feel Morgan Wade doesn’t fit the tone of the show, and that her relationship with Kyle is too protected, not authentic, yet still stealing the spotlight.”
Tension has been mounting since Season 14, when Morgan made brief appearances, but most of the sensitive details about her relationship with Kyle were either cut or vaguely referenced. While fans kept asking about “what’s really going on” between the two women, behind the scenes, the divide grew louder — one side supports a more open LGBTQ+ storyline, while the other fears RHOBH is being turned into Kyle’s personal PR machine.

Dorit Kemsley, Sutton Stracke, and Garcelle Beauvais are also said to be uneasy with the idea of Morgan becoming a regular, especially after hearing she might receive a salary matching longtime Housewives, despite having no history with the franchise.
Meanwhile, Bravo is said to be “seriously considering” Kyle’s proposal. A senior production executive noted: “Morgan brings her own fanbase — younger, less tied to the traditional drama, but very active on social media. In today’s climate, we can’t ignore that.”
But the cost may be steep. A “fracture” within the cast is already forming. Rumors suggest that at least two cast members are considering exiting Season 15 if Bravo proceeds with elevating Morgan to full-time.
In fact, a leaked message from a cast group chat — allegedly written by a well-known Housewife — read: “If she joins full-time, I’m out. This is Housewives, not someone’s personal concert tour.”
