It’s no secret that Kim Richards has some intense trauma in her life.
The former child star was engaged to John J. Collett when he was murdered in Northridge, California in 1991.
While his killer was eventually found and sentenced to 30-years-to-life in prison, there’s no question it left lasting trauma on Kim, who was on the phone with her fiancé at the time of his murder, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Facing a public battle with substance and alcohol abuse, Kim has had multiple arrests.
This includes a 2015 arrest at the Beverly Hills Hotel, according to Us.
The arrest came after Kim allegedly had “too much to drink and was disturbing some of the other patrons.”

Kim plead no contest after being charged with public intoxication, trespassing, resisting arrest and battery on a police officer, Us reports.
Not long after, Kim was hit with another arrest.
Like many celebs before her, this time, Kim was caught shoplifting.
