Kyle Richards is now opening up even more about her friendship with country music singer, Morgan Wade.
As fans may recall, Kyle's bond with her new pal was a very hot topic on Season 13 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills — especially amid her separation from Mauricio Umansky. Reflecting on all of the speculation she and Morgan have been subject to, Kyle told Us Weekly in an Oct. 8 interview, "[Morgan] was not used to being in the public eye, so I felt bad she was going through that."
"It's quieted down for sure, but I was at a music festival where she was playing, and it was like, 'Oh my God, Kyle's backstage!'" she continued. "They get excited. I tune it out."
Kyle went on to explain that she's used to handling criticism. "I've been called so many names. People weigh in on arguments on the show even though they don't know the backstory. People have speculated about my marriage and my sexuality," she said. "I let most of it go, but sometimes you're like, 'Come on. Give me a break.'
Ultimately, regardless of what's being said about her, Kyle noted that she no longer has any desire to correct people's misconceptions. As she put it, "I don't care to anymore. They also went out the window. You're free to think what you want about me."

Are Kyle Richards and Morgan Wade still friends?
Though Kyle spent less time with Morgan this past summer, that was only due to the fact that the country singer was touring the United States with musicians Joan Jett and Alanis Morissette. But, in early August, the close friends finally reunited when Morgan played a show at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.
Later, in September, Kyle and Morgan attended Mission Plastico's annual gala held to help individuals impacted by cancer.
How did Kyle Richards and Morgan Wade meet?
Kyle first learned about Morgan when she heard her song "Wilder Days" for the first time a few years ago. Kyle then began to listen to the rest of her music and the rest was pretty much history.
"I was like, 'Wow, this girl is really blowing me away with her voice and the lyrics.' And I looked her up on Instagram, and I was like, 'Oh.' I don't know, the tattoos and everything, I wasn't really expecting that," Kyle previously said. "So I followed her and then I kept listening to her music, like, on repeat. And then she sent me a DM asking me why I was following her."
Morgan then replied to Kyle and that was the start of their friendship. "I just didn't expect someone from Beverly Hills, ya know? My friends freaked out."
