Summer House‘s Imrul Hassan feels Bravo TV disrespected him by leaving so much of his footage on the cutting room floor.
During an episode of the Taylor Taylor Taylor Show, Imrul ‘the Orgy Beast’ feels he was cut from the latter part of the season “for no reason.”
How the sausage is made:
“There’s so much that gets filmed,” explained Imrul.
“It doesn’t make the edit because there’s so much that we’re filming throughout the season.”
“But, I’ve never seen – and I’ve talked to some of the people on the show as well – someone just getting edited out of a whole dinner scene.”
Imrul noted that he “tried to be respectful to the show and the process” and didn’t think much of his edit while filming.
Left on the cutting room floor:
Once Imrul watched the full season, he changed his tune.
“To have seen that the last few episodes where they just shut me out. There are cast photos from the weekend where I’m there. You can still see my shadow in some of them.”
“That felt so disrespectful. I don’t know if I can get over that. It’s definitely messed up.”
Imrul was especially hurt because he wanted to promote the English school in his home village in Bangladesh he founded.
While Summer was “fun” for Imrul, he never found his place in the House:
Imrul admitted he had “fun” shooting Summer House, but he realizes now that Bravo never had a clear path for his storyline.
“It was also a weird season because they had such a strong season with the men the year before, obviously, I had to follow that. They weren’t quite sure what to do with me.”
He recalled one of the last calls he got from the producers. “Listen, we hate to call somebody part-time. But we’re trying to figure out what to do with you.”
