Kenya Moore Says “The Door Is Closed” On Nene Leakes’  Return To ‘RHOA’ Due To Her Lawsuit Against Bravo: You Didn’t Just Burn A Bridge, You Blew It Up
Nene Leakes fans shouldn’t hold their breath for her Bravo return.

According to her former cast mate Kenya Moore, there’s little to no chance the “RHOA” alum will make a comeback to the show, seemingly due to the discrimination lawsuit she filed against them.

During a recent interview on Big Tiggers V103 radio show, Kenya Moore was questioned about the undisclosed casting slate for the upcoming season. While she was coy about giving details, not even confirming whether or not she’s been asked to return, Moore didn’t shy away when asked about the possibility that viewers will once again get to see Nene Leakes’ as a Bravo peach. She stated:

“That door is closed…when you sue your employer what do you expect to happen…I don’t understand why people think that’s a possibility.”

She continued:

“I don’t hate the idea of it, because I’ve been very vocal about the fact that I think she was great for the show. But in reality, how do you recover from suing your bosses and the network and saying all the things she said…you didn’t just burn a bridge, you blew it up.”
If you recall, Linnethia ‘Nene’ Leakes launched a bombshell lawsuit back in 2022 against the series producer Andy Cohen and the network for allegedly fostering a racially discriminative workplace. In the complaint, she accused the producers of allowing other Bravo stars to make racially charged remarks without consequence, including her cast mate and former BFF Kim Zolciak Biermann. A few months later, however, Leakes voluntarily dropped the suit after reports stated she, Cohen, and the network had gone through several rounds of negotiations.

Despite their legal situation ending, from Moore’s perspective, it seems the damage was already done. She went on in the interview to reiterate her stance about welcoming Leakes back to the show happily. However, she suggested that the truth of the matter is that it’s just extremely difficult to rebuild a relationship that ended in such extremes. She also quoted Cohen’s previous statements when asked about the possibility of Leakes coming back, to which he stated:

“She asked me to keep her name out of my mouth a few years ago so I try to respect that.”
