KATIE Price's documentary on her IVF journey and desire for another baby has been slammed by a handful of irked fans, who have blasted the star as "disgusting with no respect."
The former glamour model, 46, has made no secret of her desire to expand her family, with the Channel 4 show documenting her process for a sixth pregnancy.
Katie Price: Making Babies was filmed when Katie was engaged to ex fiance Carl Woods, 35 - who was less than impressed with the programme airing two years later.
Scenes tackle the heart-wrenching moment Katie discovers her IVF hasn't worked and that she isn't pregnant as well as the pair's painful split.
Yet despite the candid nature of the series, some fans have been left less than impressed.
The comments were sparked during a scene where the mum of five sat down with used car salesman Carl to discuss their donor options.
They pulled up their laptop as they perched in the kitchen area of Katie's former Mucky Mansion home and surveyed the options.
Katie, chomping on her breakfast, said: "Right would you like them to have curly hair or straight? I like curly," to which the Essex lad said: "I like straight."
She continued: "Hobbies, you don't like hiking, you hate reading and you don't like classical and contemporary dance," to which he replied: "No."
After dismissing a university-educated donor who "clearly isn't us" Katie continued: "Next one - oh you only like this one because she says she's 24.
"Listen this isn't a dating app."
After much deliberation and scrolling through, Katie exclaimed: "She's a good one number four."
Finally appearing to have found some common ground Carl said: "Four is my lucky number actually," before Katie quizzed: "What's the brainy one again?
"It might be nice to have a little nerd. Brain over beauty."
Fans took to social media site X after watching the scene to blast what they deemed her flippant attitude to selecting a donor.
One even exclaimed the I'm A Celeb star was "making a mockery" of the IVF process as a whole.
One tagged broadcaster Channel 4 and remarked: "You're disgusting giving rancid Katie Price IVF treatment for viewing figures.
"Give it to couples who may never get the chance to become parents!
Crikey caught a bit of the Katie Price documentary."
Another branded Katie as showing "no respect" while one admitted: "Watched 3secs before changing."
A third ranted: "Watching Katie Price Making Babies - Absolutely disgusted! All about me!!! No respect for those who have been on the IVF rollercoaster.
"I treasure my precious miracle who took 6 transfers. She makes a mockery of the IVF process. Shame on #Channel4 for giving her a platform."
One then added: I'm angry on behalf of people who want and deserve IVF treatment. The “Making Babies” docu on @Channel4
is an affront to anyone who has undergone fertility issues.
"Thoroughly shameful all-round."
TOUGH TIMES
Katie's IVF treatment followed a turbulent period in which Carl discovered Katie had cheated on him with former international polo star Jamie Morrison.
Katie and Carl's relationship breakdown is documented in the new documentary series after she candidly admitted her fears of being dumped because she was "too old" to carry another child.
When their relationship came to an end in the series, Carl said: "Sometimes loving somebody is just not enough."
Katie then said: "We've gone through all this IVF, we've had a failed IVF, and then he can just drop me like that. [clicks] Just drop me like that.
"Don't care about my feelings. Don't care about the fact that in my head I thought we were having a donor egg going in me.
"For him to now decide, Nah, I'm just gonna block her."
Carl then tells the camera: "It's the hardest decision of my life to make, like to tap out on it. She will just think that I'm out of order. ‘He's left me when we were having a child’.
"It's not about that at all. What it is about, it is about having a stability in my life. Kids need a stable home, and there's no sign of it changing. I don't have the fight left in me. I've fought for three years.”
