Katie Maloney's Unique Situation: Both New Boyfriend and Ex-Husband Celebrate Her for a Special Occasion - lulu

Vanderpump Rules' Katie Maloney has officially completed another trip around the sun! The Something About Her co-owner turned 39 years old on Thursday, Jan. 16, and she spent the day surrounded by love — from the well-wishes people sent her from afar to hanging out with her IRL at her birthday celebration. And, yes, she was feeling the love from the men in her life, past and present.

Katie's current boyfriend, Nick Martin, took to his Instagram Story where he wished her a happy birthday for the very first time as a couple. The Sleeping with Sirens guitarist posted a photo in which he's leaning in to kiss her, as they each sported very chic outfits with black leather jackets. "Happy birthday to the most genuine, loving, inspiring woman that I know," he wrote over the photo.

She then reposted it with an adorable message in return to him. "My love," she wrote over the sweet photo.

Katie's ex-husband, Tom Schwartz, wished her a happy birthday by taking pictures of their dogs, Butter and Gordo. Although Katie and Tom are no longer married, they still share custody of the two adorable pups, who were more than happy to wish their mom well on her big day.

"Happy birthday from me and the boys," Tom wrote over the sweet photos.

More birthday messages for Katie Maloney as she turns 39

Katie's mom, Teri Maloney, also took to Instagram on Thursday where she posted a series of photos. In the photos, Katie can be seen as a child in a workout costume, and hanging out with her mom now at Something About Her. "Happy birthday Katie!!" Teri wrote in the caption of the post. "I'm so proud of the woman that you've become, but you'll always be my baby girl & my little peanut! ~ I love you so much today & everyday with all my heart ~ forever & ever!"

Katie then reposted her mom's photos to her own Story. "Love you mama!" she wrote in reply. "I have always been super into fitness," she noted of one of her throwback photos.

Katie's friend and, podcast co-host, Dayna Kathan, also took to her Instagram Story, where she posted a photo of her and Katie, posing next to a cake in the shape of a sandwich. She also posted another story with a message for her. "Happy f--king birthday to my partner in crime, my co-host, and one of my favorite people," she wrote. "You just got here to record so k love you bye."

Just when you thought her birthday could not get any sweeter, she celebrated with all of her friends. Katie's Something About Her co-owner and BFF, Ariana Madix, took to her Instagram Story, where she posted a photo of Katie, at her birthday dinner, blowing out her birthday candles.

Dayna then posted a group photo of Katie's birthday dinner attendees, all wearing black in homage to one of Katie's most worn colors. They then hung out at a bar afterward, dancing and relaxing with one another. If this celebration is any indication, 39 is going to be amazing for Katie.

Katie Maloney reveals what she will miss most about being on VPR

Katie is only looking ahead to the future in her 39th year after some big changes. It was announced in November 2024 that VPR will return for Season 12 with a new cast of SUR-vers, Katie noted that she will miss a few things about being on VPR.

"This past week [I've seen] people at the store or coming into the sandwich shop, or going to the laser hair removal and they're just like, 'I'm so sad,'" Katie said on a Dec. 4 episode on her podcast, Disrespectfully. "So many people were so invested and it touched so many people's lives, so many people are affected by this that you forget. I'm gonna miss that kind of connection because so many people grew up with us and we shared our lives with so many people."
