REAL Housewives of New Jersey star Joe Giudice is blaming his “ego” for his split from wife Teresa.
Joe, 47, posted a video of family photos on Saturday, January 11.
The RHONJ dad captioned the snaps: “Don’t fall in! Whatever happens in our future, remember we were friends to begin with. We will always stay strong. It’s not distance that breaks a couple it’s actions!
“I’m growing and learning more from today’s generation. Egocentrism was thing in baby boomer and gen x era. Now, millennials believe in joint effort not separating roles. Not that I didn’t love my era. I see the ego thing got in my way like a trap.”
He ended the statement with: “One bedroom is good today, simplicity, girls and family first, and actions speak louder than a car or big things.”
Joe added the hashtags: “#Familyiseverything #awakening #kids #future.”
The admission comes days after Joe sparked reconciliation rumors over Instagram.
Joe referred to Teresa, 47, as his “wife” and a “hot momma” while promoting her new eyebrow kit on Instagram.
He then wrote on the post: "Love my wife always working great women inspirational stay focused.”
In December, multiple outlets reported the two were separating after 20 years of marriage, although they had no plans to file for divorce yet.
Although Teresa and their daughters Gia, 19, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 13, and Audriana, 10, visited Joe Italy in November, she didn't travel to Italy with her family for Christmas.
Instead, she spent Christmas with her brother Joe Gorga and rumored boyfriend Tony Delorenzo.
As The Sun readers know, Joe was released from prison in March 2018 after spending 41 months in prison on fraud charges.
Joe, who is not a US citizen, was ordered to be deported to his native Italy and was then transported to ICE custody.
Joe left ICE custody in October. He is now awaiting the outcome of his latest deportation appeal.
Teresa served 11 months in prison in 2015.

On The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 9 reunion, Teresa revealed they would split if he was unable to stay in America.
She said: “I want somebody with me every day. I know exactly what happens. You know, I’m sure he’ll be with other women. It happens.
"We do the long-distance thing, it’s not going to work. I’d be like, ‘Bye-bye.’”
