It costs a lot to get Jenna Lyons out of bed.
The former J.Crew executive has made her second controversial fashion choice for a “Real Housewives of New York” reunion, with Bravo revealing that Lyons selected a black bathrobe for the Season 15 sit-down.
But this wasn’t just any hotel robe; Lyons’ Balenciaga look costs a cool $4,069.
Jenna Lyons skipped the ballgown in favor of a high-fashion bathrobe for the Season 15 “RHONY” reunion.
She tied her hair up with a towel-like head wrap, too.
The former J.Crew exec accessorized with glitzy Christian Louboutin heels, diamond earrings and her engagement ring.
Co-stars Brynn Whitfield and Jessel Taank went with more traditional “Housewives” looks.
“I just wanted to do something unexpected and playful,” she told the Daily Dish of the decision. “I can’t compete in the sexy dress category!”
She went glam with her accessories, however, wrapping her hair up with a black towel-like head wrap and amping up the glitz with crystal-embellished Christian Louboutin heels ($1,595).
Lyons also added some drama with oversized sunglasses and wore her jaw-dropping engagement ring from Cass Bird, along with diamond drop earrings.
Last year, Lyons caused a stir when she wore jeans to the Season 14 reunion.
The rest of the newbie cast looked glam in gowns.
Dubbed “Jenna F—king Lyons” by her co-stars due to her high-fashion sensibilities, it’s hardly the first time she’s caused a stir with her fashion choices on the show.
At last year’s reunion — the first featuring the rebooted cast of Lyons, Erin Lichy, Jessel Taank, Brynn Whitfield, Ubah Hassan and Sai De Silva (with additions this year including fashion designer Rebecca Minkoff and model Racquel Chervremont) — Lyons was criticized for eschewing the Bravo-typical ballgown for jeans.
The LoveSeen founder, 56, paired her denim with a totally sheer top, tie and blazer, with fans — who think Lyons often gets a pass on Bravo norms — declaring the look a fashion faux pas.
Erin Lichy, who is pregnant with her fourth child, wore a gold Bottega Veneta gown.
Sai De Silva went for a masculine/feminine mashup with a Christopher John Rogers ballgown.
Ubah Hassan sparkled in a slinky mini.
Racquel Chevremont chose a bold floral Carolina Herrera tea-length dress.
However, the tides have changed, with positive comments flooding Bravo’s Instagram post spotlighting Lyons’ ensemble.
“My hero ,” said one person. “That’s mother,” said another. Others said, “I’m here for it,” “She’s fierce!” and “Legend.”
Co-star Lichy, who wore a gold mirrorball Bottega Veneta gown, commented, “Icon status.”
“Yeah, hell yeah. ,” added Sai De Silva, who chose a black tuxedo-style ballgown by Christopher John Rogers for the reunion.
The whole cast stuck with a black and metallic theme, with Whitfield going bold in a feather-trimmed sheer sequined dress inspired by Zsa Zsa Gabor, Taank in a ruffled Maticevski gown and Hassan in a slinky gloved mini.
The first part of the Season 15 finale airs Tuesday, with the second airing January 28.
