Jenn Tran is proud of getting through another tough situation on TV.
While speaking with PEOPLE following week two of Dancing with the Stars, Tran, who is partnered with pro Sasha Farber, opened up about how their working relationship got them through an unexpected challenge.
The duo were first to hit the dance floor on Tuesday, Sept. 24, performing a tango to the track "A Little Party Never Killed Nobody" by Fergie, GoonRock, and Q-Tip.
However, a technical issue led to the couple performing their The Great Gatsby-inspired routine while not being able to hear their music.

Speaking to PEOPLE after the show, The Bachelorette star called the experience "nerve-racking."
"I truly got very scared, and then there was no music, and I don't know, like muscle memory just powered over, and I just kept going, and I just did what I had to do. I'm honestly really proud of myself too because I do think something like that could really mess with someone's head," she reflected, noting that she's "so happy" to have a partner she can "rely on."
Farber adds that Tran is "a true professional," taking the dance with "a lot of steps" on since she's never had experience.
The dance earned a 19/30 and received compliments from judge Bruno Tonioli, who likened her performance to a "sassy, glossy, mischievous little kitten!"

"I do think like we have such a special bond and such a special relationship," she added.
"You love me?" pro dancer jokingly asked.
"I love you," Tran replied.
Jenn joined the season 33 cast of Dancing with the Stars just hours after revealing on The Bachelorette finale that her ex-fiancé Devin Strader had broken things off with her.
She shared with PEOPLE earlier this month that she was "excited" to jump into the new reality show but is "still very much going through a healing process."
