When it comes to Jeff Lewis, I feel like he is doing everything he can to stay in the Bravo limelight, and honestly, he just looks parched. Someone needs to get him some water. Jeff’s brazen attitude isn’t new. When he starred in Flipping Out, he came across as arrogant when he talked to his staff or even friends. But last week, he came for Sonja Morgan. Now, riddle me this. Sonja is an icon. A gem. Did Jeff think this was going to be a good look for him?
Jeff Lewis vs. Sonja Morgan
Jeff and a few other Bravolebrities, including Sonjarita, took part in wishing Andy Cohen a happy 15 years of Watch What Happens Live. But after the festivities wrapped Jeff had a few choice words for how Sonja behaved. While on his radio show, Jeff Lewis Live, he noted, “I was very annoyed by Sonja and, I believe that they did a lot of work to edit her obnoxious, drunk behavior, but what you see was 20 times worse. She never stopped talking. She was belligerent. She was rude and disrespectful. She was confrontational. She came for me at the break. I was completely turned off by her behavior.”
Jeff went on to share that Sonja confronted him during a commercial break, saying, “I only hate one other person more than you.” Jeff then added, “By the way, accusing me of something that I don’t recall doing. I don’t think it was something that I did do.” Jeff’s co-host seemingly backed him up, noting that viewers could hear Sonja “shout out things the entire rest of the episode.”
Sonja did act out
There was one part of the Watch What Happens Live episode where Sonja seemed to get a little out of control. While Andy was talking, Sonja could be seen interrupting and slurring some of her words. She interrupted Luann de Lesseps about her cabaret show noting she wouldn’t play her Marry, F*ck, Kill game saying she would “f*ck Luann, won’t f*ck Dorinda because Dorinda’s, like, a Catholic girl with big panties and Ramona would be incest. They get mad. I’m a comedian. Is that not right?” The rest of the guests sat there stunned into silence.
But Sonja has had a hard week. She officially had to move out of her townhouse. It is also worth mentioning that Sonja doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. For years, fans have watched the mother of one be a lighthouse for the Real Housewives of New York, always guiding her costars home. So, while Sonja may have been overserved, it seems a bit low for Jeff to go for the jugular. That said, there’s a big part of the population who thinks Sonja needs to get herself under control.
Jeff Lewis had issues with Teresa Giudice
I also take Jeff’s words with a grain of salt. The former interior designer also had some heated words with Teresa Giudice. During the same segment, the OG of Real Housewives of New Jersey told Andy, “Well, he was saying sorry to me because he said something. But it’s like, if you didn’t mean it, I don’t know why you said it.” Tre was referring to comments Jeff had made about her feud with Melissa Gorga. Sonja and Tre aren’t the only Real Housewives he has had conflicts with. Jeff has said nasty words about Heather Dubrow, Bethenny Frankel, Kyle Richards, and Vicki Gunvalson.
Personally, I feel like Jeff needs to take an inward look. It doesn’t make sense that he keeps coming for any of the Real Housewives, especially Sonja. Our Sonjarita hasn’t had the easiest few years, and instead of putting her down more, the Bravo community should be lifting her up. And besides, Sonja isn’t the type of woman who will ever be defeated by some spoken out-of-turn sentiments.
