Once considered one of the most magnetic (and controversial) personalities in the Bravo universe, Jax Taylor is now on the verge of being completely cut from the second season of The Valley, his latest reality TV venture, following a string of off-camera incidents that insiders say Bravo “can no longer ignore.”
According to sources close to production, Bravo issued a formal warning to Jax in early May after a series of events in his personal life were deemed disruptive to the integrity of the show and toxic to the work environment. Within just six weeks, Jax was allegedly involved in at least three separate incidents, the most serious of which occurred at Jax's own bar in Studio City. Eyewitnesses say he was caught yelling at a male patron, throwing a glass, and nearly starting a physical fight — all of which was captured on surveillance footage. That footage was later leaked to Bravo by a former employee, prompting immediate internal review.
A former Vanderpump Rules producer who once worked closely with Jax shared, “He’s always thought of himself as the main character — the one who brings the ratings. But this time, no one wants to clean up his mess anymore.” That same source confirmed Bravo is now “seriously considering” removing all of Jax’s scenes from The Valley Season 2 — or even delaying its premiere altogether to re-edit the narrative without him. This would mark one of the most drastic post-production decisions in recent Bravo history.
To longtime viewers, this spiral isn’t new. Jax has a well-documented history of bad behavior, both on and off camera. In 2018, he was arrested for stealing a pair of sunglasses worth $300 in Hawaii. In 2020, calls for his cancellation erupted online after resurfaced social media posts were slammed as offensive and insensitive. During filming of The Valley’s pilot in 2023, insiders claim he verbally attacked a crew member — an incident that was reportedly “buried” to avoid ruining the show's debut. Now, with Bravo hoping The Valley could be his redemption arc, Jax seems determined to sabotage that opportunity as well.
Adding fuel to the fire is Jax’s ongoing separation from wife Brittany Cartwright. Just weeks after Brittany moved out of their shared home citing “a lack of faith in his ability to change,” Jax was spotted partying into the early morning, seen with several unidentified women, and even took subtle jabs at Brittany on his podcast. Meanwhile, Brittany has reportedly moved in with her mother, staying quiet publicly but posting cryptic quotes like “finally breathing again” on Instagram.
Fans are sharply divided. Some argue that Bravo should make an example of Jax and drop him entirely — that tolerating his behavior is no longer acceptable. Others claim Bravo created the “Jax monster” and now must reap what it sowed. But most agree on one thing: “We watched Jax for the drama, but it’s gone from entertaining to toxic. There’s a line — and he’s crossed it.”
As of now, Bravo has made no official comment. But media insiders believe a full Jax edit-out from Season 2 is a real possibility, especially as the network pivots toward a “real but responsible” rebranding in the post-scandal era of reality TV.
The only question left is: Does Jax Taylor still have a place in the Bravoverse? Or is this the end of a near-decade-long reign as reality TV’s most reckless anti-hero?
