Amanda Confronts Kyle Over Trust Issues in Unaired Summer House Moment (VIDEO) - suong

In a new preview of Part 2 of the Summer House Season 9 reunion — set to air Wednesday, June 4 — Amanda Batula reveals that she and her husband Kyle Cooke “had a very big conversation in the beginning of summer” that never aired... until now, that is.

The conversation, according to Amanda, was "about where our relationship stood [and] what needed to change in order for us to move forward."

"Because I was ready to... I had one foot out," she adds in the above preview. And from there, the previously unseen footage from June 2024 plays.

“You keep doing the one thing that you know hurts me, and it pushes me farther and farther away every time you do it," Amanda can be seen telling Kyle. "And then you’re like, ‘Why aren’t we friends?’ Friendship is built on trust. I can’t trust you."

Kyle looks surprised in response, but the footage of the conversation ends there.

Kyle Cooke explains why his relationship with Amanda Batula was previously suffering

Back at the reunion in the above sneak peek, Kyle admits that around the time he and Amanda had the aforementioned conversation, "Our relationship was on shaky ground, to say the least."

“Look, I kinda use socializing as an outlet. Like, I don’t drink unless I’m socializing and I’m not great at moderation when I am drinking," Kyle continues. "But I realized for the longest time that I’m using ‘the Hamptons’ and ‘summer’ as, like, my big release. And that continues to get me in trouble and continues to put our marriage in a compromised place. I need to stop thinking about, ‘Hey, this might be my last hurrah!’ And just be a little more present.”

The Summer House preview ends shortly after that, but not before reunion host Andy Cohen can commend Kyle for making the positive change. "Good," the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen emcee tells him. "That worked."
