LOUIS Tomlinson’s ex-girlfriend Briana Jungwirth is living a dream, reclusive beach life with their young son Freddie - nine years after her pregnancy made headlines around the world.
Exclusive photographs obtained by The Sun show Briana, now 33, and the One Direction star's only child grabbing supplies at Whole Foods in Ventura, a coastal city north of Los Angeles.
Briana, who has worked as a personal stylist, was almost unrecognisable with her long blonde hair cut short and tied up with a claw clip.
She opted for no make-up and was dressed down for the mother-and-son outing wearing a white T-shirt, a short black sweater, ripped jeans, and New Balance trainers with white socks.
The Sun understands Briana does not have a regular 9-to-5 job and is a doting single mum.
LUXE BEACH LIFESTYLE
She lives in an ocean-side apartment complex where a two-bed unit costs around £3,095 a month.
It offers unparalleled views of the sandy beach, blue waters, Ventura Pier, and swaying palm trees.
The area is not crowded with tourists like Santa Monica and Malibu further down the coast, with local dog walkers, yoga mums, and surfers enjoying the warm weather.
Briana and Freddie's apartment complex boasts a 24-hour gym, a pool and spa, a large playground, and a social club.
They live close to small boutique stores, coffee shops, and brunch spots, including The Jolly Oyster Ventura, a shellfish farm dispensing raw, whole oysters and clams from a cart.
Briana appears to be your typical California girl and spends a lot of time with Freddie at the beach.
She gave birth in 2016 when she and Louis were just 23 years old.
Pop star Louis, 33, has been a constant in his son's life despite living more than 5,400 miles away in Britain.
Briana rarely posts on her public social media page but has shared rare images of their son, along with modelling shots of her on the beach.
She does not appear to be flashy when it comes to fashion but has promoted bikinis from Slate Swim, with two-piece sets priced at around $120.
Other snaps show her in basic gym gear, while one also shows her in a loose-fitting white top and denim shorts enjoying drinks with friends.
The Sun understands she has a close-knit circle, including a best pal who works as a realtor in Ventura, along with connections in music.
When Briana is not on mum duty, she enjoys time at concerts with friends, reading, sunbathing, and having 'self-care days' with massages and treatments.
She has family nearby including her mum Tammi Clark, a former bikini model and actress who lives about 40 minutes away in Calabasas.
Her father Joe Jungwirth and stepmum Karen live in South Dakota where they have been based for years.
Joe previously spoke about his daughter’s shock pregnancy, which resulted in trolls bombarding her with abuse.
SHOCK PREGNANCY
Construction boss Joe admitted at the time the pregnancy “wasn't planned”, and said Briana was “overwhelmed” by the attention.
Speaking at the time, he said he couldn’t wait to welcome the child.
He said: "It's the first kid in our family, this will be the first grand kid. Yeah we're excited about it, Briana is doing great I guess.
"It's a bit of a shock, you know, they're kids, stuff happens, but I'm supporting her. I love her to death and it's all good.”
But stepmum Karen admitted at the time that the trolls on X were a lot for them to deal with.
She said: "I'm distressed for all the crap I've read online in the middle of the night.
“It's exciting for us and, you know, it's unusual and very strange. But last night in the middle of the night in my anxiety I was like, I'm not gonna look again, because it's too weird these days, what things are said on Twitter, it's just crazy stuff."
HIGH PROFILE DATES
Briana has mostly stayed out of the limelight but in 2020, it emerged she was dating Brody Jenner, the former step-brother of Kim Kardashian and son of Caitlyn Jenner.
Brody and Briana were pictured dining with friends, including Brody's ex-wife, Kaitlynn Carter, at celeb hotspot Nobu in Malibu.
But TMZ reported in September of the same year that they had already parted ways.
Briana was quick to move on, getting back with her on/off boyfriend of several years, Nick Gordon.
Nick popped the question during a romantic trip to Vegas, and they went ring shopping.
Briana was 28 at the time and wrote on Instagram, "10 years of knowing you and I knew all along you were my soulmate. I love you!"
But fast-forward five years and they seems to have ended their engagement - as she is no longer following him on Instagram and has removed photographs of them together.
She is also seen in The Sun’s exclusive images without her engagement ring as it appears she’s moved on from the relationship.
Meanwhile, Louis is believed to have a home in Los Angeles and has spoken of visiting his son whenever he is not performing or recording, while his family are also close with Freddie.
Last October, Louis' twin sisters, Daisy and Phoebe, 21, shared a video with other family members grabbing frozen yogurt with Freddie at a Pinkberry brand in Santa Monica on TikTok.
Fans noted how big Freddie was and how much he looked like his dad.
'RECKLESS CHAV'
Louis previously told The Sun’s Fabulous Magazine in 2020 that although the pregnancy was unplanned it meant he matured.
He said: “Yeah, it was unexpected and I had to grow up very quickly. It was another one of them moments – being faced with the reality of a situation and having to step up. It was a very maturing time in my life.
“And, again, I've kind of got between two head spaces. I’m the responsible dad and brother some days and other days I’m still the reckless idiot chav I used to be. I’m still trying to work out a happy medium.”
Louis' relationship with Briana was brief after he split with his long-term girlfriend Eleanor Calder.
They worked out long-term custody and child support arrangements, but it is not known how much he pays Briana a month.
Louis and Eleanor later rekindled their romance but eventually split for the last time in 2022.
In recent years, he has been linked to model Sofie Nyvang and earlier this month, he was spotted on a date with British reality star Zara McDermott following her split from I’m A Celeb winner Sam Thompson.
Louis gave fans a look at his life as a dad in the 2023 documentary, All Those Voices.
The film saw Louis well up with emotion as his son watched him perform live for the first time in Los Angeles.
Freddie was wearing big headphones to protect his ears from the noise, but at one point took them off to hear better.
The youngster was then seen heading backstage.
When Louis picked him up he told him: "You made me cry! It was happy crying, but you made me cry!"
It was a rare glimpse of Freddie as Louis usually prefers not to post pictures of him on social media.
Briana has shared the odd touching image or video of their son, including content of him on family holidays.
She has shared snaps from trips to Oahu and Kauai in Hawaii showing Freddie with bright blonde hair and looking the spitting image of his famous father.
