Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Dolores Catania stood up for Teresa Giudice against the “attack” against her on a Chicago morning news segment.
ICYMI, Tre ended a virtual interview with WGNTV Chicago‘s Larry Potash (an icon in his own right) when asked about her extreme tax debt.
During an episode of Two T’s in a Pod, Dolo explained she was aghast at how the reporter conducted the interview.
Dolo didn’t think that asking Teresa about her taxes was funny:
“I think that Teresa was so taken back is because when we speak to people, literally a news station, we’re not expecting that. We don’t expect that from anyone. I was taken aback, and I think that she was so taken aback. She wasn’t ready.”
Dolo doesn’t think that anyone would have expected to field such a sudden, serious question during a segment for a morning news show. “He threw her off and it was nasty.”
“She walked off once before. Teresa does not like somebody to try to make a fool out of her. She knows when that’s happening.”
Dolo believes, “That was rude. I felt bad for her. Just so you know, for whatever it’s worth, Larry, I’ll never come on that show.”
“I will say this,” she continued. “If you are taking your time to go on somebody’s podcast or an interview, you’re not expecting to get attacked.”
Anchorman Larry Potash gave sage advice to Tre and her team:
“For her PR person,” began the reporter. “Instead of trying to tell us what we can’t ask, why don’t you teach her what to say when someone does ask that question?”
