Swifties are not happy after British soap actress Denise Welch shaded son Matty Healy’s ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift, saying she was “glad” that she didn’t end up as the singer’s mother-in-law.
Not only that, but they’re blasting Bravo’s Andy Cohen, “offended by [his] choice of words,” when initiating the conversation with Welch on his “Watch What Happens Live” Thursday night.

"Bitterness runs in the family apparently," said someone else.
Not only that, but fans are also ripping Cohen for calling the problematic B-list rocker "the great Matt Healy" and referring to Swift's 2024 album "The Tortured Poets Department" as completely written about their short-lived romance.
"Who in the smallest man that ever lived hell thinks this WHOLE album is about Matty??? Please do your due diligence before making these statements that are making his ego bigger than it should be," one Swiftie commented on Instagram.
"Andy I’m offended by your choice of words," wrote another, followed by someone else writing, "Sir, “the great Matt Healy”? It’s too much."
"Donna would never," joked another Swiftie, referring to Donna Kelce, mom of the Grammy winner's new boyfriend, Travis Kelce, 35.

Taylor Swift was shaded by her ex-boyfriend Matty Healy’s mom, Denise Welch, who declared she was “glad” that she didn’t end up as the singer’s mother-in-law.
Welch targeted the 14-time Grammy winner when asked about the pop star’s short-lived romance with her son during an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live!” Thursday.
Welch, a British soap actress and daytime TV fixture, didn’t hold back when host Andy Cohen asked for her reaction to Swift’s 2024 album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” which is believed to contain several nods to the rocker.
“Obviously, on pain of death can I talk about that episode, but not being her mother-in-law is a role that I am glad that I lost,” she said, prompting audible gasps from the audience.
