Charlize Theron blasted Jax’s Studio City for allegedly watering down their alcoholic beverages!
Charlize appeared on Watch What Happens Live and didn’t hold back about her recent visit to the Vanderpump Rules alum’s bar.
“I was a little mad,” Charlize told Andy Cohen.
Why, you ask?
“I think they watered down their liquor,” she theorized, adding that the drinks didn’t quite hit the way she expected.
Charlize did acknowledge that maybe it was just her tastebuds playing tricks — but regardless, she was underwhelmed by the drink situation. That said, she gave Jax and Brittany’s bar credit where it was due: great vibes.
She and her Bravo-loving girlfriends enjoyed the aesthetic, even though they only stayed for an hour.
“I gotta go and really do it,” Charlize added, implying she might give it a second chance.
Naturally, Jax’s Studio City clapped back — just like their namesake would.
The bar reposted the WWHL clip with this rebuttal:
“We most definitely do not water down our liquor.”
As someone who’s also sipped and snacked at Jax’s with Ashley, I can say we had thoughts — and shared them in a full review. From the food to the crowd to the cocktails, we gave it a fair shake.
