'I'm a dentist - Katie Price risks serious health problem with new Turkey teeth' - suong
Fans of Katie Price have expressed concern for the former glamour model after she unveiled a gleaming new smile - and now a dentist has also issued caution. While out on a Waitrose run on Monday, March 17, mum-of-five Katie flashed a dazzlingly wide grin to the camera, in footage she later uploaded to social media.
This led to widespread speculation that the 46-year-old had revamped her 'Turkey teeth', which she treated herself to a few months back, squeezing in another facelift and nose job during her trip. However, although she has indeed had several sets of veneers in recent years, Katie, who has previously opened up about her heartbreaking battle with body dysmorphia, has insisted she hasn't had her eye-catching pearly whites replaced recently.
Remarking that "people find anything to pick on" her, Katie went on to suggest that her teeth may simply appear larger as her "lips were thinner". Now, an expert has spoken out about Katie's much-discussed Turkey teeth, warning that the star could well end up with a myriad of issues.

Dr Dalel Trabelsi, dentist and clinical lead at Tooth Club, told the Mirror: "Katie Price’s recent dental transformation has raised concerns, particularly about the size of her veneers and the potential risks involved. Oversized veneers can cause several issues, including bite misalignment, which may lead to discomfort or temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, and they can also interfere with speech by affecting tongue movement and may irritate the gums, increasing the risk of inflammation or gum disease over time."
Temporomandibular disorder (TMD) is a condition affecting the movement of the jaw. Symptoms can include pain around your jaw, ear and temple; and clicking, popping or grinding noises when you move your jaw, according to the NHS.
Dr Trabelsi continued: "The aggressive preparation of teeth, such as filing them down into stumps to fit veneers or crowns, is especially worrying as this process permanently weakens teeth by removing healthy enamel, making them more prone to decay and sensitivity.
"It can also lead to complications like infections or the need for root canal treatments and shortens the lifespan of restorations, requiring repeated procedures on already compromised teeth. For those seeking aesthetic improvements, there are less invasive alternatives such as non-prep veneers that preserve natural tooth structure, composite bonding for minor corrections, or orthodontic treatments like braces or clear aligners to address alignment issues without damaging enamel.
"Katie Price’s case highlights the importance of prioritising oral health over aesthetics and approaching cosmetic dentistry with care to ensure long-term dental wellbeing."
She has since addressed the recent controversy over her teeth(Image: Instagram )
Addressing rumours on her Instagram Story, Katie, who has today been cleared of bankruptcy, told her fans: "Well, the topic of this week is all about my teeth, not my weight". Asserting: "People will find anything to pick on me", the OnlyFans creator continued: "I don't know, everyone says my teeth look too big for me. Well, I can assure you, I haven't had a new set of teeth. It might be because my lips are thinner. I haven't put anything in them."
She contemplated: "I don't know, they look the same to me, but you know, people find anything to pick on with me. The best thing is, I'm happy, and that's all that matters."
