Comedian Anthony Anderson is calling out Kevin Hart for taking credit for a prank he pulled on their Scary Movie 3 co-star Simon Rex two decades ago.
On Thursday night’s (April 10) episode of Watch What Happens Live, Anderson revealed the most “devious” prank he’s ever played on a castmate.
“We were filming Scary Movie 3 or [Scary Movie 4], Simon Rex, myself, and Kevin Hart,” Anderson began. “Simon played a trick and so I wanted to get him back.”
“So I shut off all of the water in his trailer and I took a shit in his toilet,” he continued. “And I went outside and I just sat there and watched. It baked all day. And he went in there and he couldn’t flush it because I turned all the water off.”
However, Anderson accused Hart of stealing his thunder once Rex realized what had been done in his trailer.
“You know what’s fucked up? Kevin Hart — fuck you, because you took credit for my prank,” Anderson fumed. “I’m telling the world right now. I did it! And Kevin took credit for it.”
According to Anderson, Hart “didn’t take the blame” for leaving a surprise in Rex’s toilet. But he wasted no time “celebrating” the moment.
“We all celebrated and I just watched back and I looked at this motherfucker and I was like, ‘Wow,'” the actor recalled.
While Anderson has been holding this grudge for more than 20 years, his anger was likely all in good fun. After all, he and Hart have worked together on multiple projects, including Scary Movie 3 (2003), Scary Movie 4 (2006), The Last Stand (2006), and Grudge Match (2013).
