Hugh Grant takes issue with Luann de Lesseps’ claim they spent a night ‘making out heavily’-quang

Be cool, don’t be uncool about the past.

Hugh Grant is taking issue with Luann de Lesseps’ claim that the pair once made out “heavily.”

Grant, 64, took to X Monday and shared that he has no recollection of making out with the “Real Housewives of New York City” alum.

“Steady on. I do remember meeting a charming RHNY in a restaurant, but I’d like to stress it was about 15 years ago,” the “Heretic” star wrote, using “RHNY” to refer to a “Real Housewife of New York.”

“I don’t recall shots or kissing but her memory might be better than mine,” he added.

Though Grant did not refer to de Lesseps by name, he shared a screenshot of an article about the reality star’s assertion.

Grant is married to TV producer Anna Elisabet Eberstein, 41. The pair tied the knot in 2018.

Writing on X, Grant responded to de Lesseps’ claim they once made out.

It was during a recent interview published Thursday that the “Marry F Kill!” cabaret performer, 59, claimed she and Grant locked lips and took shots together, saying she engineered the encounter.

“A girlfriend of mine called me and was like Hugh Grant is at Pierre’s [a restaurant in the Hamptons]. I said, ‘I’ll be right over.’ I called and said, ‘Get the table right next to Hugh Grant,’ ” de Lesseps told TooFab. “I had my family over, my brother was visiting me, and I said, ‘Let’s go.’

“I said, ‘Sit me right behind him.’ I pushed out my chair real fast and I bumped into him — flirting 101 — I bumped into him and said, ‘Oh I’m so sorry.’ “

According to the Bravo star, Grant knew who she was because they both know Bravo kingpin Andy Cohen.

“I go, ‘I’m so sorry. Can I buy you a shot I feel terrible.’ He goes, ‘OK, but I’ll come have a shot with you if you do one with me,’ ” she recalled.

“Before you know it, we are taking shots and making out … heavily at the table!”

The “RHONY” veteran went on to say her brother told her, “I can’t believe you’re making out with Hugh Grant.”

“Neither can I,'” she remembered saying.

De Lesseps also shared another story about an alleged romantic assignation with a celebrity. The star said that she considers actor Gerard Butler to be the one who got away.

“I got into an elevator with him [Butler],” she told TooFab. “I tried my best but he had a girlfriend who was there. You can only try!”

Flirting 101 can only take one so far it seems.

As of now, de Lesseps is still looking for love. “I mean, I’m dating, I’ve got a month or so to go. I’ve got a lot of options, so I figure I’ve manifested love in 2024,” she said.

The reality queen also suggested she would be open to appearing on another reality show: “The Golden Bachelorette.” Though she wondered whether her suitors could handle the assignment.

“Who can charm the socks off the Countess?” she asked. “That’s what I’d like to know.”
