Brittany Cartwright is setting the record straight after Jax Taylor’s eyebrow-raising appearance on Watch What Happens Live.
ICYMI: Jax claimed that Brittany gave him no say in who stayed in their shared Valley Village home — implying she just up and left with their son, Cruz.
But according to Brittany, that couldn’t be further from the truth.
“That burned me alive,” she said on her podcast When Reality Hits, before breaking down what really happened behind closed doors.
Brittany revealed that she and Jax had “many fights” about the living situation before she finally left — not because she wanted to, but because Jax refused to go.
“He said to me verbatim, ‘This is his house and he will never leave,’” she shared.
The Valley star says she was left scrambling, moving between Airbnbs to shield Cruz from the toxic tension.
Even offering to pay for Jax’s own temporary housing to avoid uprooting their child.
Let’s not forget: Cruz is on the autism spectrum, and stability is everything. Brittany stressed how heartbreaking it was to disrupt his routine, all because Jax wouldn’t budge.
“That’s not fair to me, and that was a very hard time for me. I just wanted to make sure that was clear.”
She even texted Jax after the WWHL taping to call him out — and true to her word, she addressed it publicly on her podcast.
