LOVE Island fans have slammed Shakira for ‘leading Ben on’ after her cruel comment gave her true feelings away.
Tonight, new bombshell Harrison Solomon made his decision and picked Toni to stay in the villa, sending Malisha home as a result.
And since his villa arrival the footballer has been getting to know the ladies, including Shakira, who is coupled up with Ben.
Chatting by the firepit, Shakira implied that her conversations with Ben weren’t mentally stimulating enough for her.
She told Harrison: “I don’t think he’s someone I’d go for on the outside world.
“When I speak to him, we get on well. But on a deeper level, I’m not sure.”
Harrison interjected to ask the brunette beauty if she and Ben have “deeper chats.”
Shakira replied: “No, well we’ve had a few. I like conversations that stimulate me and I’m quite a smart girl, do you know what I mean?”
Shakira also said there’s a neon light saying trouble above Ben’s head.
Since their firepit chat, fans have taken to X to say Shakira is “leading Ben on.”
One person penned: “Shakira hates Ben so bad,” and a second wrote: “Shakira is definitely leading Ben on.”
A third wrote: “Shakira so why you kissing him and leading him on?”
Others have claimed that Shakira has called Ben “dumb,” as one wrote: “Shakira basically called Ben dumb.”
A second penned: “No way shakira just called ben thick by saying her conversations with ben aren’t stimulating to her brain… please.”
Another said: “Bens not stimulating enough for shakira.”
It comes as the first week in the villa wound down, and Maya Jama returned for spin-off show Aftersun, where she grilled Shakira's mum and sister about what she's been up to in the villa.
Both didn't think too highly about her current match, Ben, who she coupled up with in the latest ceremony, but her mum couldn't hide her dislike of Harry – who was seen jumping out of bed with Shakira for a night in the Hideaway with air hostess Helena.
While some fans believed he did it in order to get one up on Shakira, who had shared a snog with Blu earlier that night in the Hideaway before confessing, her mum was not pleased with Harry's antics.
So when Maya asked if she thought Harry and Shakira were a good match, her mum didn't hesitate to say no.
"Absolutely not," she declared. "I didn't sleep. I, actually, when she ended up back with Ben, that was the best night's sleep I've had in a few days. I prefer him."
But Shakira's sister wasn't so convinced about Ben, having previously told Maya: "I'm not a fan, but I feel like they do match each other's break a bit.
"I feel like she likes the chase, and because he was, like, so weird with her at the beginning, she kind of liked it and it roped her in a bit."
However, her mum was more warm towards Ben, saying: "There must be potential there for it to be that interested."
