Hannah Berner recently had a bit of a gray hair emergency that she needed fixed ASAP. Although the Summer House alum is used to gray hair being around her silver fox husband, comedian Des Bishop, she had to get her roots covered as soon as possible before a big event.
The New York native took to her Instagram Story earlier this week, where she revealed that she has been in Los Angeles. But, during this trip, she had a little bit of a problem with her hair color. In a video posted to her social media, the normally auburn-haired Hannah can be seen sitting in her hotel room, while a stylist applied hair dye to the top of her head. "Getting my grays did," she wrote over the video.
"It's almost 8 p.m.," she said in the video posted to her story at the time. "Crystal insisted that I get my roots colored because my grays were out and about. Those girls were not playing! Large and in charge."
Although she had to cover them in a pinch and showed off the difference in a before photo "for reference," Hannah revealed that they didn't bother her too much.
"I was going to do the red carpet with them, but she was like, 'I'm coming over.' Look," she said, admitting that her hair colorist in New York even had to send her hair color formula to get the right match. "Just living the glamorous life."

Hannah spoke with Into The Gloss in September 2023, where she admitted that she doesn't like to get her hair colored too often. "If I'm being honest, I'm not prioritizing haircare as much as I should," she said. "I only go once a year because I'm always running around, so I like a natural balayage and highlights so it can grow out without looking like it's growing out."

Although Hannah has made some big changes to her hair lately, she has some haircut ideas for her BFF, Paige DeSorbo. Hannah took to her Instagram Story in early January where she posted a photo of Emma Stone with a pixie cut. "This is the haircut I want Paige to get," The Giggly Squad podcast co-host wrote over the photo.
After her Instagram followers, however, voted against the big transformation in an accompanying Instagram poll, she defended her idea to the next post on her story. "I'm getting a lot of backlash for the Paige haircut recommendation," she wrote over a selfie of her sitting on a couch. "I swear I'm not trying to sabotage her, I have a creative vision!!! She is my muse. I would shave my head if I had the bone structure but I don't."
