Gretchen Rossi is ready to shake up the O.C.

Nearly a month after Bravo announced The Real Housewives of Orange County alum will be returning for the show's upcoming 19th season, Gretchen and longtime fiancé Slade Smiley shared how they really feel about coming back to reality TV.

"It's fun," Gretchen exclusively told E! News at Keep Memory Alive’s Power of Love Gala benefitting the Cleveland Clinic Nevada in Las Vegas on Feb. 22, "we're excited."

Plus, Slade noted, "This is the right time. She's authentically friends with a majority of the women outside of what happens with filming and production. We've got great relationships with a lot of the girls. I'm excited about that part for you."

And, yes, the couple's lives have completely changed since Bravoholics last saw them on season eight nearly a decade ago.

"We have a five-and-a-half-year-old," Slade, 51, noted of their daughter Skylar. "She runs the show. Five going on 15."

Gretchen added that she can't wait to share their new chapter with fans.

"This new stage of our life," the 46-year-old echoed, "because I think everybody knew that I really wanted to have a child. So, I think that will be fun for people to see Slade and I together as parents."

As for exactly how much screen time Skylar will be getting once filming begins, Gretchen clarified, "I don't know if you're going to see as much of her, but she will definitely make some appearances."

When it comes to joining returning costars Heather DubrowTamra JudgeShannon Beador, Emily SimpsonGina KirschenheiterJennifer Pedranti and Katie Ginella, Gretchen has no fears about wading into the group drama.

"It's kind of fun to come back and not be nervous about anything," the reality star admitted. "I am just who I am authentically and that's just what I'm going to be on camera. Whether people like or not, too bad."

And since Gretchen and Slade got engaged the last time they were on our TV screens, could a season 19 wedding possibly be in their future?

"You never know," she teased, while Slade chimed in with, "Absolutely no reason for us to not to."

156-159. The Real Housewives of D.C.

Bravo's ill-fated attempt at highlighting our nation's capital brought together four women so forgettable you'd be forgiven for erasing them from your memory—though their names are Mary Amons, Lynda Erkiletian, Cat Ommanney and Stacie Scott Turner—and one so desperate for fame that she gate-crashed a party at the White House. More on her later.
