The “Golden Bachelorette” contestants are the type to stop and smell the roses — which couldn’t make Susan Noles and Kathy Swarts happier.
The stars of “The Golden Bachelor” recently revealed how they feel about the men competing for Joan Vassos’s heart this season.
“What I love about the men is that they opened up and showed their vulnerable side, and they were very emotional. They’re real. That’s the best part,” Noles gushed exclusively to The Post at Warner Brothers’ Fall TV Season Celebration.
“Last night was a little sad, but the little strip dance they did that is bringing them out of their comfort zone, which we had to do as well. We didn’t strip, but!”
And she can relate, as the end of her journey on “The Golden Bachelor” sparked a whole new chapter.
“It changed us, it made us more secure,” Noles continued. “I fell in love with myself again. I’m so grateful, and I think it’s doing that for every one of those men. They’re leaving that show, the ones that left, believing in themselves again, knowing it’s not over.”
“They seem like great guys, though,” added Swarts. “So, they’re vulnerable, and you can tell they want to — they’re at that stage of life where they’ve had big lives, big experiences, and highs and lows, just like we have. And it’s nice to see that men want to find happiness too.”
“When you get to our age, you don’t worry about the little things anymore. You accept yourself where you are, you love yourself. I relished every day. I wake up grateful every day that I have the life that I have.”
These days, the ladies are keeping busy hosting their “Golden Hour” podcast. And Noles and Swarts are sure to keep it rosy on the mike.
“We talk about relationships, dating, life. Nothing is off-limits,” Swarts revealed. “And people write in great questions and we love that we make people’s lives better. Even a little bit of happiness for someone who maybe is having a bad day. It’s a great feeling.”
Of course, the women were more than willing to share their advice when it comes to looking for love — on and off the air.
“Don’t give up,” Noles urged.
“Don’t give up,” echoed Swarts. “My thing is, get up off the sofa. Mr. Right or Mrs. Right, whoever you’re looking for is not going to come knocking at your door. Get off the sofa and get involved. Get up and do things.”
And the podcasters know exactly what they’re looking for in their own Mr. Right.
“Above ground!” Swarts joked, to which Noles teased, “Breathing!”
“Maybe most of his teeth,” Swarts chimed back in.
But all jokes aside, Noles confessed: “Someone with a warm heart and a fun personality. You’ve got to be able to laugh at the little things.”
“I want someone who will relish and enjoy every day, who can laugh with me and take adventures and travel,” Swarts said.
Despite Swarts and Noles leaving Gerry Turner’s season without finding a partner, they did find love in a different form: friendship.
“We’re inseparable,” Noles said about the friendship between the ladies of Season 1.
Swarts chimed in: “It’s exactly what you see with these great friendships on the show. And we are still, some of us know each other better than others. But at this time in our life, to be able to make friendships like this is just incredible.”
