Gia Giudice has nothing but “love, love, love” for her mom Teresa Giudice’s marriage to Luis Ruelas, and she revealed why the second time around is better than the first.
“They’re both really good. I know sometimes the fans don’t want to believe me when I say it,” Gia told Us Weekly on April 19.
The influencer continued, “They say that I sound like a broken record. But I mean, I wouldn’t be lying. If things were this bad or if something was really wrong, I don’t think I would be living under this roof.”
Gia reflected on her mom’s marriage with her dad, Joe Giudice, and admitted that he wasn’t as doting as Ruelas is now.
“You could tell she was very loved and coddled and just a lot of affection, which she didn’t really get,” Gia said of Teresa and Ruela’s relationship.
“My mom and dad’s marriage wasn’t really like that. It was just different. They obviously loved each other, but it wasn’t very intimate in front of others or lovey-dovey all the time, but that’s kind of how [she and Luis] are. It’s nice to see them both really in love,” the reality star told the publication.
Gia Admitted That Family Drama Isn’t Always Easy to Handle
Teresa and Ruelas made headlines when it was revealed that they owed over $2 million in taxes collectively, People reported in April.
Gia told the publication that she felt the repercussions and said, “It’s definitely hard when you’re a part of a public family. My whole family’s in the public eye. So whatever goes on with my family, [I’m] associated with it. It’s just how it goes.”
She shared, “So even though it might not be me, I will still get the wrath of it in the comments, my sisters will. So it kind of affects the whole family, which is unfortunate, but you just have to build tough skin.”
“People are going to love to hate you, hate to love you. And you go to the ‘filter comment section,’ you type in some words, you try to avoid the people from being able to comment those things. But also, your haters are your biggest supporters. So at the end of the day, it is what it is,” Gia said.
Teresa Called Ruelas Her ‘Twin Flame’
Teresa shared during the “Undressed with Pol’ and Patrick” podcast episode in February, “Luis and I, we get along great. We like the same things. Joe and I, we didn’t like the same things.”
“Like my ex was not attentive at all. He was just very old school. Listen, he was a good, I mean, looking back now, Joe was easy, but he just wasn’t my guy,” Teresa added.
“We made beautiful babies together, but that’s about it,” the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star said.
She continued, “I spoke to a tarot card reader and she calls Luis my twin flame.”
