EXCLUSIVE: Sandra Mason & Charles King Reveal Details About Blossoming Golden Bachelor Romance: ‘He Is a Treasure’

Golden love is in the air!

Bachelor Nation fans saw Sandra Mason look for love on Season 1 of “The Golden Bachelor” and Charles King look for love on Season 1 of “The Golden Bachelorette.”

Since then, the two have been continuing their journey to find love off-screen and have been keeping fans updated with their lives on social media.

Now, Sandra just took to Instagram to share a series of photos with Charles and tease their budding relationship.

Alongside the slideshow of photos, the “Golden Bachelor” star wrote, “I’m just gonna leave THIS right HERE for y’all… 🌹+🌹 😊”

So we spoke exclusively with both Sandra and Charles to get to learn more about their date night.

Charles and Sandra shared with us that they met at Joan Vassos’ “Men Tell All” and had connected in the DMs after, promising they would be in touch next time they were in each other’s cities. 

When Sandra was in Los Angeles over the holidays, she called Charles and he took her out for a proper date night! 

Charles said, “Sandra and I spent some time together right around New Year’s Eve. We had a really really great time together. The vibe was amazing. Sandra is an incredible woman. I love her elegant charm and straightforwardness. She is always up for an adventure! She is so fun and funny. Sandra is classy and elegant and charming and all of the things that mature men look for in a woman. She takes such good care of herself, and as a mature man I really appreciate all of that about her.”

He shared more about their night together, saying, “We went to Houston’s in Pasadena. The whole restaurant gave us a shout-out and took pictures! It was a lot of fun. We hung out for a long time… I got home by around 3 a.m.! Aren’t seniors not supposed to be out past 10 p.m.?! I told Sandra that the last time I got home that late was when I was in college. We had dinner and had a great conversation. We had our moment! She is a lovely woman. We really had a great conversation that was fun and insightful and talked about what we were looking for, and before we knew it, it was after 2 a.m.”

Sandra agreed that it was a wonderful night, saying, “It was truly so nice! We were at the restaurant for at least two hours and we had a phenomenal conversation getting to know each other after dinner as well. We talked about our future, our kids, what we want in a relationship, the show, and so much more.”

The “Golden Bachelor” star went on, “I found him to be the ultimate gentleman. He is a treasure. Charles is chess, not checkers. It’s so true. He’s so sincere. A lot of men can seem that way and throw on the charm, but he’s not that way, it’s truly who he is. He is intelligent and such a pleasure to talk with. On top of that, he’s also so funny and witty. We got along very well. The hours we spent together were so fun, it was one of the best dates I’ve had in a long time.” 

And in case you’re wondering if the two shared a kiss at the end of the night, Sandra spilled the tea, saying, “Sometimes a hug just is not enough, so we did step into the lip-to-lip zone for a minute, but a lady doesn’t tell!” 

She left it at that! 

Both of them said they have spoken since their romantic date night, but Charles is getting ready to move to South Africa for work for the next few years. 

Despite his big move, they both shared the sentiment that “you never know what the future holds” for their relationship.
