ESPN Analyst Believes Tom Brady Faked Reaction After Trying Turducken On TV
The late-great John Madden introduced the Thanksgiving tradition of serving turducken (a chicken stuffed in a duck stuffed in a turkey) at the NFL's Thanksgiving Day games. But did Tom Brady, a man who is renown for having an extremely strict diet, really indulge in Madden's iconic meal?
During Fox's broadcast of the Cowboys-Giants game, Brady was seen taking a bite of turducken. Many fans joked that Brady likely spat it out once the cameras were off him since it goes against his diet. But the analysts at ESPN took it very seriously this morning.
On Friday's edition of Get Up, ESPN analyst Ryan Clark went on a rant about how there's no way Brady actually eats turkey since he follows the TB12 diet so religiously. He admonished Brady for faking his reaction to turkey and said he would have been more respected if he had simply declined to partake in it.
"Tom Brady don't eat no turkey! We talked to Tom Brady and he be on that TB12 since forever... How in the hell is he gonna eat turkey? I know that's not in the diet. And then you watch him try to fake it - he opens his mouth all wide and bite into it like it was really good. We all know that turducken is dry, Tom. You don't gotta act like you like it on TV..." Clark said.
Fans on social media have shared Clark's assessment, with many joking that he couldn't possibly have enjoyed it after
"He definitely threw that leg into the trash when the camera went back to the field," one user wrote on X.
"The goat going in on that leg hes gonna be sick after years of plant based that rush of meat protein is gonna hit like a truck lol," wrote another.
"Am I the only one who believes he spit this into a bucket the moment the camera cut away?" a third wondered.
"TB 12 diet doesn’t allow any meat (besides fish). Tom definitely spit it out after the camera cut away," a fourth remarked.
The TB12 diet is pretty strict. Unless this was literally a cheat day for Brady, it's hard to imagine that he really appreciated it other than for a lark.
