Erika Jayne Reveals Whether Lisa Rinna Is Returning To ‘RHOBH’ After That Cryptic Social Media Post

Lisa Rinna‘s eight years on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills were filled with plenty of glass-throwing, pot-stirring moments. While she announced her resignation from the show in January 2023, she still managed to spark quite a stir on social media last week when she seemingly hinted at a Bravo comeback. However, her good friend and former co-star Erika Jayne is setting the record straight.

Last Thursday (Nov. 7), Rinna posted a photo of herself sipping from a drink and flipping off the camera from the Watch What Happens Live studio — otherwise known as the Bravo Clubhouse. She cheekily captioned the post, “Hi, I’m back,” leaving many fans to speculate whether that meant she was rejoining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after a one-season hiatus.

DECIDER recently chatted with Jayne over a Zoom interview to talk about the upcoming 14th season of the Bravo reality series — and, of course, we had to ask her about her friend’s future on the show.

“I would love to see Lisa come back,” Jayne said, though added, “She’s not going to come back.”

During the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 premiere, producers flashed a still of Rinna’s September 2022 resignation email, which read, “I will not be renewing my contract and I will not be coming back to RHOBH. Thank you so much for 8 years!!!! All the best, Lisa.”

People officially confirmed her exit from the series in January 2023, with Rinna telling the outlet, “This is the longest job I have held in my 35-year career and I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series. It has been a fun eight-year run and I am excited for what is to come!” According to Rinna, she decided to leave after her late mother came to her in a dream and urged her to follow her dreams elsewhere, per USA Today.

Since her departure, Rinna has remained booked as busy, with roles in TV shows like American Horror StoriesSo Help Me Todd, and Lopez vs. Lopez.

However, she still finds time to catch up with her former RHOBH co-stars. Jayne told us that they were even planning to meet up that night to see Sting in concert at The Wiltern in Los Angeles.

“We’re all good friends. We still hang out,” Jayne said. “And I think that’s one of the added good things about being on a show like this is you do make real connections. But you have to invest in those. You have to nurture those relationships.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14 premieres on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
