Eagles Reveal Key 2-Word Theme For Super Bowl LIX vs. Chiefs - suong

The Philadelphia Eagles have been all about business since they arrived in New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX.

Whether it's their usual boisterous coach speaking out about injustices around the league, or the team having a chip on their shoulder for one reason or another, things have been relatively quiet on the front of the organization as they prepare for a rematch against the Kansas City Chiefs.

And one central theme has come out of that locker room - one that head coach Nick Sirianni is all too happy to speak about.

“I think we’re really focused and really locked in,” Sirianni said. “That’s the sense I’ve gotten since we’ve been here, and actually since last week and pretty much all throughout the playoffs.”

The "locked in" approach has been shared across Eagle players and fans around New Orleans. Wide receiver A.J. Brown recalled a moment with an Eagles fan who yelled at him to "lock in" days before the big game.

But it's something that Sirianni has also pushed to his players as well.

“That’s been all year,” Sirianni said. “It always comes down to fundamentals, so we’ve always done that. It was a good practice.”

Being "locked in" may not be the only thing the Eagles need on Sunday. Taking down a former Super Bowl champion is hard enough, but defeating a quarterback in Patrick Mahomes who is 17-0 in his last one-score games is another thing entirely apart.

In many ways, being "locked in" won't be enough.
