The Philadelphia Eagles and their fans celebrated the team's second Super Bowl championship in team history on Friday.
The team's parade culminated with mayor Cherelle Parker taking to the podium to pump up the crowd while delivering a message of unity to the franchise's gathered fans.
Her speech took place during the 2 o'clock hour as the local Fox29 television stationed christened the day the "Eagles Parade of Champions."
"The Philadelphia Eagles, the city of Philadelphia and all of our fans, the best sports fans in the world, right here!" Parker said.
"And because I'm feeling so good today, when the haters come, you tell them, we don't care what you have to say today, we're feeling great, don't try to throw shade on my Eagles' shine!"

Fans could be heard chanting, "Wrap it up!" in the background of Parker's speech as the City of Brotherly Love mayor continued her speech.
"When I watched you all today, you reminded me that you were one Philly, a united city," Parker added, imploring fans to join in on her chant.
A bird's eye camera view showed the breadth and depth of the crowd as fans celebrated, continuing their chants as the day's festivities began to wind down.
