Dr. Heavenly Kimes Reacts to Dr. Contessa Metcalfe’s ‘Square Up’ Threats Upon Married to Medicine Return-quang
We’ve seen a lot of dramatic moments over the years on Married to Medicine, but the Season 11 trailer took a shocking turn when Dr. Contessa Metfaclfe told Dr. Heavenly Kimes to “square up.” Surely, we aren’t about to see two doctors fistfight on TV. Even for Bravo, that would be a new low, and Dr. Heavenly recently explained why she didn’t take the threat too seriously.
Dr. Heavenly isn’t going to “square up” with Contessa
During the Married to Medicine Season 11 premiere, we saw Dr. Contessa make her surprising return to the show via a newly forged friendship with Lateasha Lunceford. Immediately, Dr. Heavenly was caught off guard since she had lingering issues with both women.
“I don’t know why Sweet Tea [brought] Contessa, that just gives me a bad vibe,” Heavenly admitted in a confessional. “Maybe they’re gonna take turns whipping my ass. I have no clue.”
Although Heavenly and Contessa didn’t have much interaction during the premiere, the Season 11 trailer shows their feud escalating. In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, Heavenly dished on Contessa’s surprising threat.
“I was taken aback, but you know what, it was not so badly received because I know she has as much to lose as I do,” Heavenly explained.
“Now, had someone else said ‘square up,’ I might have been more offended,” Heavenly teased. “Contessa knows who she is.”
Fortunately, it sounds like Heavenly didn’t have to square up this season, although she admitted that Contessa’s “size 11 shoe” would have “squashed” her.
Heavenly continued, “That’s okay. You know, I had my ass whooped before, but that’s okay!”
It’s unclear if Contessa and Heavenly will manage to get back on the same page before Season 11 is over. Throughout Heavenly’s interview, she repeatedly called her “delusional.” So, it sounds like Andy Cohen will have his work cut out for him at the reunion.
