Former Las Vegas Raiders star receiver Davante Adams has been struggling with his new team, the New York Jets, and has received backlash. He ultimately left the Raiders for the Jets to play for a team that has a better chance to win games and partner back up with his former Green Bay Packers teammate, Aaron Rodgers.
On the "Up & Adams Show" the veteran receiver was asked about what his thoughts were going to a new team that has the same record as Las Vegas.
"Look at the situation I was in in Vegas, and you look at the situation I'm in here... I at least feel hopeful that we'll be able to have a good performance."
Despite the Jets and Raiders having a very similar season, Adams still thinks that being with New York is much different than still being in Las Vegas. He has brought up multiple times that the Raiders did not want to build a winning culture, and made poor decisions during his time with the team.
Now being with the Jets, it seems the dysfunction within the organization is at an all-time high. However, New York has a lot of talent on their roster that has all the potential in the world to be great, which is likely why Adams thinks he is better off with the Jets.
