DAME Joan Collins has had her say on Strictly Come Dancing's many woes and has blasted the programme for being "not fair".
The glam star made her feelings very clear on the stars that the BBC have been signing up for the show as she waded into the latest fix row surrounding Love Island star Tasha Ghouri. 
During an appearance on Loose Women, Joan was probed for her thoughts on the new series where it quickly became apparent that she was not in favour of Tasha having been picked as a contestant.
Some fans were left unhappy when Tasha landed second on the leaderboard after an impressive Cha-Cha-Cha to Sabrina Carpenter hit Espresso alongside her pro partner Aljaz Skorjanec.
There was immediately talk of a fix as a result of Tasha having had professional dance training and having worked as a dancer before finding fame on the ITV2 reality show.
Now, Joan has admitted she thinks it is unfair that stars with any past experience are given their moment on the dancefloor.
During her appearance on the ITV lunchtime programme, host Ruth Langsford asked Joan: "There are other people saying 'that's not fair for the amateurs' you know people who have never even stepped on a dance floor.
"You watch the show, I know you're a fan. So what do you think?"
Without hesitation, Joan quipped: "I don't think people should be on who have dance experience.
"I think it's much more fun to watch people who are total amateurs, you know like the blind guy, he's amazing.
"It's not that I'm negating them, you know everybody has to do their thing but it's not fair to the other contestants."
Joan went onto hint at how she would fair if she were to be signed up to the show as she confessed that her past experience would mean that she would likely be "quite good".
She recalled: "I've had dance experience. I started going to dance school when I was three so I would probably be quite good."
Ruth then joked that someone would be signing her up for the next edition, saying: "There'll be somebody there at Strictly right now [she pretended to write on a notebook] 'Dame Joan Collins'."
Amid claims of a fix, one of Strictly's top choreographers has now hit back at critics during an exclusive interview with The Sun.
Airing her thoughts on the situation, Maria Tsiatsiani told us the fix row argument is 'not valid'.
Maria said: “It’s very important to know that every celebrity brings their own life experience and dance, or no dance, experience. Everyone is learning from scratch and it’s a huge thing to learn.
“You have to learn choreography and dance with a professional dancer – and all our pros are the best in the business – and then you have to dance under so much pressure.”
She added: “So if you took five ballet classes or ten or zero, everyone is at the same playing field on that Saturday night and in the rehearsal studio.
“So this fix thing is not valid. There’s no fix. Everyone dances all the classic and traditional speciality dances and the ballroom dances. Everyone starts at the same zero playing field. Everyone starts at zero and we go forward.”
