Dorit Kemsley‘s husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, is facing yet another lawsuit. And in his response, he’s arguing that he shouldn’t be liable for his debt because too much time has passed.

As the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple faces a potential seizing of their assets, as well as numerous tax liens, it has been revealed that a UK organization has filed a lawsuit against PK, claiming he has an unpaid balance of $75,000 with Star Sports, a sports betting company.

On February 27, The Blast shared details from court documents, which revealed the UK’s AR Legal Collections Limited was assigned to collect PK’s debt and deliver the money back to Star Sports.

According to the lawsuit, PK owed Star Sports $260,737 in October 2016 but agreed to settle the debt with AR Legal Collections Unlimited for just $150,000. However, after making a one-time payment of $75,000, PK failed to pay off the remaining $75,000 balance.

In his own court documents, PK accused the company of filing their case past the statute of limitations and said they attempted to get their money from him “first by making threats to [PK] and his brother (who is entirely uninvolved with the debt) and then filing the lawsuit.”

Because PK’s bets allegedly took place between 2010 and 2011, he claims the company can no longer sue him because they waited too long and failed to provide evidence to back up their claims against him.

He is requesting the case be dismissed.

According to The Blast, PK owes $1.7 million to the Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas for a past gambling debt and nearly $1 million in back taxes. He also owes $1.2 million to a man who gave him a personal loan years ago.

PK is due in court in April to address the latest lawsuit against him.
