Craig Conover gave fans an updated look at his backyard five months after his split from Paige DeSorbo.
On April 28, the “Southern Charm” star posted an Instagram video that featured him walking around his Charleston, SC backyard on a sunny day. In the clip, Conover, 36, sampled some homegrown fruits and veggies and gave fans an update on his beekeeping area.
“Planting snacks, checking on the bees, and soaking up the sun. Keep growing — you’re doing better than you think,” Conover captioned the clip.
The sweet update came a few days after Conover’s ex-girlfriend appeared on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” and took some credit for his stunning yard. “I decorated that backyard beautifully,” DeSorbo cracked on WWHL on April 23. Fans may recall that DeSorbo was instrumental in helping Conover pick out striped awnings and lounge chairs for his backyard sanctuary.
Fans Reacted to Craig’s Latest Video
In the new video clip, Conover walked around his garden and picked fresh produce. “There will never be anything like fresh produce or fruit you grow yourself,” he told fans.
The Bravo TV personality took a bite of the first strawberry of the season from his garden, then chomped on a stalk of celery and bit into a fresh basil leaf.
“I’d be remiss not to say hi to the bees with y’all. Say hi to the new bees,” Conover said as he headed over to the bee houses that DeSorbo painted pink last summer.
“They’re young and rambunctious,” he added of the bees. “They’re busy, they’re task-oriented. They don’t really mind me being here unless you’re wearing all black, and then they think you’re a bear.”
Conover noted that the bees were just doing the best they could do, as we all should.
Fans reacted in the comment section.
“How is this not every woman’s dream?! Keep going dude!” one commenter wrote.
“Love seeing your hard work! ✨ Congratulations on your beautiful life you have built,” another added.
“He’s just living his best life. Good for him!” a third chimed in.
Craig Loves Spending Time at Home in His Yard
When he was with DeSorbo, Conover enjoyed spending most of their time in the backyard. That hasn’t changed in the months since their split. The Sewing Down South founder recently told Page Six he likes to read in the backyard where he “can listen to the birds and the breeze carries the smell of all my flowers.
“Occasionally being visited by one of my bees or two,” he added. “My other favorite spot would have to be the bench in my front yard next to my Venetian fountain that I recently installed last fall,” the “Southern Charm” star said.
