Cowboys’ Micah Parsons Sends Bold Warning to Commanders’ Jayden Daniels

FRISCO - Another day, another bold proclamation by Micah Parsons.

The Dallas Cowboys' star edge  is proving to have more zigs and zags in front of the camera than he has moves on the football field. Trying to keep up with Parsons' bold opinions is more difficult than trying to block him.

In an eventful, high-profile Super Bowl week in New Orleans, Parsons proclaimed that the Cowboys will play in Super Bowl LX in February 2026, confirmed he is "lifer" that won't leave Dallas ... and then teased that he might someday sign with the Kansas City Chiefs in pursuit of a Super Bowl.

Parsons walks the walk on the field, evidenced by 52.5 sacks and four All-Pro selections in four years.

But, man, does he also love to talk the talk.

Appearing in a video posted to Chad Johnson's social media, Parsons was at a Super Bowl party alongside Jayden Daniels of the Washington Commanders.

"I'm gonna tell y'all right now, Cowboys gonna win the NFC," Parsons said as Daniels just offered a wry smile. "I ain't playing no more."

Parsons also did his own podcast - The Edge - in New Orleans, interviewing NFL stars such as Green Bay Packers' quarterback Jordan Love and Baltimore Ravens' running back Derrick Henry.

When Love attempted to recruit Parsons to the Packers, the linebacker seemed to indicate he would never leave Dallas.

"I'm a for lifer," Parsons said. "I can't go nowhere. Me and Jerry Jones talked ... that's my dog."

But before Cowboys fans could get comfortable with that notion, Parsons switched with the wind and hinted that he might someday leave in order to win a championship. While Henry refused the notion of changing teams to chase a ring, Parsons sounded more than open to it.

"If you can't beat 'em, join 'em," he said as Henry laughed uncomfortably. "In the next four or five years once I hit that 30 and I'm not where I need to be - if that ring not right here on my finger fitted ... "
