It was announced by several Rangers insider that the NHL New York Rangers, the AHL Hartford Wolf Pack, and the ECHL Bloomington Bison made a series of transaction on Wednesday afternoon.
UPDATE: #NYR and the Wolf Pack have completed a series of transactions.
Rangers Assistant General Manager and Wolf Pack General Manager Ryan Martin announced today that the club has recalled forwards Blake McLaughlin and Brett Budgell and defensemen Carter Berger and Ryan Siedem from the ECHL's Bloomington Bison.
Due to the fact that, forwards Brett Berard, Brennan Othmann and Jake Leschyshyn, and defenseman Matthew Robertson, have reported to New York to participate in practice with the New York Rangers today.
#NYR are back on the ice this morning and the good news is that Igor Shesterkin is out there with the team. They also brought a few guys from Hartford - Berard, Othmann, Leschyshyn and Robertson - to help fill out the practice.
They join goaltender Dylan Garand, who was recalled by the Rangers on Tuesday.
UPDATE: Dylan Garand has been recalled from the Hartford Wolf Pack.
The reasoning behind this series of transactions are due to the four players still representing Team USA and the 4 Nations Face-Off tournament as they play Team Canada on Thursday for the Championship game.
Those four players being Adam Fox, J.T. Miller, Chris Kreider and Vincent Trocheck.
