Carl Radke Says What He Really Thought of Lindsay Hubbard’s ‘Summer House’ Gender Reveal-quang
Carl Radke said he had a fun time participating in Lindsay Hubbard’s gender reveal last summer.
In March 2025, the ”Summer House” star told Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” that it wasn’t uncomfortable for him to celebrate his former fiancée’s baby because he truly cares about her.
“She deserves to be celebrated,” Radke told the outlet. “I think people forget I’ve known her since 2016. Kyle [Cooke], Lindsay and myself, you know, started ‘Summer House.’ I care about her well-being, and I wanted her to be supported and have a good time. And I just thought why not just lean in and have a good time with it? So yeah, I legitimately was happy for her and had fun, and I felt like that was the right thing to do.”
Less than one year after Radke ended his engagement to Hubbard on camera, the “Summer House” cast celebrated Hubbard’s gender reveal for her baby with new boyfriend Turner Kufe. Hubbard and Kufe welcomed their baby girl, Gemma, in December 2024.
Carl Radke Said It Was ‘Healthy’ to Film With Lindsay Hubbard & Celebrate Her New Chapter
In the “Summer House” episode “Pink and the Blues,” Radke donned a pink t-shirt for a team scavenger hunt for Hubbard’s gender reveal. The Soft Bar founder later happily cheered when the group found out his ex was having a girl.
In a confessional, Radke admitted it was “a little weird” for him to be a part of the festivities, but he noted that he wanted to be “supportive” of Hubbard.
In February 2025, he told People magazine, “Filming with her all summer, it actually was good and healthy to see her. …. I was happy for her, and for me, it was kind of like, ‘Okay, she’s moved on and she’s happy and that’s all that really matters.’”
During an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” Radke said filming with Hubbard while she was pregnant was also good “healing” for him. “I was over it,” he said of his former relationship. “But it was adjusting to the fact that she really was moved on, and it’s point-blank right in front of me. It was good healing, and I needed to see that.”

After the gender reveal episode aired, Hubbard posted a series of photos to Instagram that featured highlights from the special day. “Tbh, I really just wanted an excuse to watch everyone run around the house lol 💕🎀👙💖👛 #ItsAGirl #GenderReveal #SummerHouse,” she captioned the post.
Fans commented to agree that it was a cute gender reveal.
“What a special moment!!!” commented co-star Kyle Cooke.
Others praised Radke for being such a trouper throughout the day, which went into the night with a pink-themed dinner and “It’s a Girl” lobster bibs.
“Shout out to Carl. This episode showed growth. Happy for you both 🩷,” another fan wrote to Hubbard.
